Cosy and warm, great quality
Bought these a year ago, they're really cosy and warm and the water resistance works well. They are very comfortable especially as i have wide feet (D/E fitting) and the ladies size 6 fitted as expected with thick socks. My only criticism is that they are a bit wide around the heel but that's my problem with most shoes. They've been used a lot more than they needed to as i really like how they feel. They give my chunky calves plenty of room and look great with leggings.Traction's decent around town in last year's heavy snow, but i didn't try them out on any trails in that weather. They are good on long walks in cold UK weather where it's a bit damp and grim. My gait is pretty unpredictable (hypermobility syndrome makes me a bit wonky!) so i tend to trash my footwear quite quickly, but these have lasted well. There's no sign of the stitching coming undone or damage around the sole. Great boots!

Snug and cosy
These are very cute and feel sturdy and well-made. The boots are a snug fit and needed quite a bit of adjustment of the laces to get them on. They are narrow around the top. Once adjusted, they fitted well with ordinary socks but if you want to wear thicker socks I'd advise going up a size from your usual. I haven't worn them outside yet (it's too warm!) and I haven't worked out how to get them on over the top of my trousers. When you push your foot into the boots the trouser leg simply ruckles around the top of the boot and won't slide in easily. Maybe the answer is to buy some ski pants with stirrups under the foot if you can still buy them! They feel very warm and I'm looking forward to my holiday in the snow.P.S. I've now had my Estonian holiday (down to -7 degrees) and these boots were fantastic. I wore them all week and they were comfortable and kept my feet and legs warm and cosy with ordinary socks. Although snug to get on they then keep out everything, so no snow or water trickling down from the top. I also got some "stirrup" trousers from M&S and they fitted without wrinkling up. Brilliant!

Perfect boots!!!
I love walking with my dogs everyday, and I needed new boots as my other walking boots (not this one) always getting wet, ended up with wet socks...! Saw this lovely black boots, and decided to buy it especially for this time of the year as I want to keep my feet warm, dry and comfortable. I have to say that I haven't yet walk in it, but I have tried it on and I loved it! I'm confident that it will keep my feet warm/dry/comfortable! It's also lightweight, not heavy. No needed to add thick socks on as it fits perfect with normal socks. My feet size is usually 6/6.5 so decided to buy size 7 and it fits just perfect with normal socks.Fast delivery with PRIME.Updated: I walked in these boots in wet weather, and my feet didn't get wet! It stayed dry and warm. I walked over the very wet grass to see if it is waterproof and it is! Happy with it :o)February updated: I wear it everyday since October and so far my feet stay dry and warm especially in very cold and wet weather, even muddy. I walk on very wet/muddy grass alot with no problem. I wasn't sure whether to buy it when I saw it and I'm so so so glad I did. So comfortable.

Great for insulation but grip insufficient
Bought these for a recent holiday up in the Arctic circle in Norway. I ordered my usual size, and the fit was perfect. Very comfortable and not heavy to wear. The boots provided great insulation and kept my feet lovely and warm in the arctic temperatures (-13C) and dry in the deep snow. I was however very disappointed with the grip, walking on icy surfaces was treacherous and the boots did not grip at all.

Fabulous Waterproof Snow Boots!
Great Waterproof Snow Boots! This was the 3rd pair of snow boots I ordered from Amazon - the previous 2 pairs, despite showing "in stock" when I ordered my size, were in fact out of stock and I was asked if I wanted to order a different size instead... Er, No - I wanted "my size"... So, I chose this pair, which were actually a lot cheaper than the other 2 pairs but I was not disappointed. These proved to be really comfortable when I wore them in Switzerland over New Year. They look and feel great and kept my feet lovely and toasty warm - and I didn't need to wear special socks. Also wide enough for anyone with "ballet dancers calves" as they don't come right up to the knee - but are still long enough to keep the snow out. Great boots at a great price. Well worth it! Great boots
These boots are lovely, they really are well made and look great and feel great. I thought I might need to go up a size as would be wearing with thicker socks, but no need! If you are a true size 5 just go with your regular size, they fit perfectly with some wiggle room. They are so snug and warm, you won't need thick socks with these either, normal socks will suffice. I'm so glad I bought them, now I can't wait for the snow to come-- bring it on! I also want to say they look really expensive, and for the price I paid, they are a steal. Certainly recommend. Also arrived within two days, excellent delivery service. Many thanks

Can't wait for snow!!
These are just perfect! They are very stylish and don't look clunky. The small purple colour touches lighten them and make them clearly feminine without being girly. The lenght is perfect - tall enough to prevent the snow getting in but not so tall they are bulky with trousersThey are easy to get on and off. The strings are easy to tie and adjust making the fit just right around the ankle and so preventing the heel from sliding up and down in the boot - great if you want to walk a distance in themThey are very wam and comfortable and I wore them on a day that was about 6 degrees and they were not too warm.Havent had the chance to test their waterproofness but they are very well made and are a reputable brand (previous walking boots from Hi-Tec have lasted years).Overall I am delighted with these and know they are going to be a favourite of mine every winter!!!
