Aesthetic reissue with Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane of the famous Ultra Raptor, a trail running shoe developed for long off-road distances and extended training sessions even in winter. The Gore-Tex® membrane lining allows perspiration but does not let water in, making it ideal for running in winter. The rear stabilising heel allows for perfect control over the sleepers. The lacing system is integrated in the upper part by ties sewn on the inner elastic fabric and with high-frequency reinforcements on the outer mesh: this system distributes the tension of the laces throughout the upper part and wraps the foot in the best possible way for perfect comfort. Ultra Raptor II GTX® is also available in a wide-fit comfort version dedicated to hikers with a wide foot. The result is a technical and lightweight shoe that can be used for many hours in a row and is suitable for off-road use on any type of terrain. Raptorize yourself again.

Wide is the way to go.
This is my third pair, the first two were not wide and always hurt my feet just a little. This pair I finally decide to order the wide and it’s so much more comfortable. These seem to run smaller and narrower than most. They hold up great to everyday use, from working on pavement to hiking and everything else. Over a year per pair when any other pair of shoes has struggled to last me over 6 months.

The wide sizes arent very wide
This could have been a great shoe. I liked everything about them and bought a wide size due to my wide foot. However, the shoes aren't that wide, nor are they flexible or giving. When my foot swells even slightly during the day or while hiking, these become too uncomfortable to even wear. Basically they were a $200 mistake!

Solid shoe.
I recently wore these shoes for an 8-mile hike in the mountains. They provide excellent support, and the grip on the bottom was impressive for climbing steep, rocky hills. Overall, I found them to be very comfortable. However, the soles were a bit hard, though not too bad. Because of this, I give them a 4 out of 5.

Well made shoes.
After some experience with LaSportiva I always buy a 1/2 size larger.Even with a wide, they are a bit snug.FWIW, YMMV.Good shoes and comfortable.Cheers
