I am overweight and 5'4' tall. I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and scoliosis. This pad has great coverage--from neck to buttocks. It can easily be wrapped around an arm. It is plenty warm for me at #10 (goes higher). The auto shut-off is great. The pad is thick and soft. It appears to be of good quality and should last a long time. It is definitely worth the price. ADDENDUM: After two months, the pad quit working completely. I loved it while it worked, but it is definitely not worth the price for two months use. It is too late to return the item, and I am very disappointed.

This heating pad is amazing. I love that it is wearable and wraps around your shoulders like a hug. It is also weighted so gives the comfort of a weighted blanket. I needed some relief from back pain and felt a little silly paying this much for a heating pad but it was worth the investment.

I got this for my husband as he had a similar one that just stopped working. He has a lot of shoulder pain and liked the kind that drape over the shoulders to keep the heat there (as opposed to trying to keep a regular rectangular pad in place). I did a lot of researching on the different ones, and this one seemed good. I am so glad I got this. The weight keeps it where you put it, and it fits comfortably while he's lying down. The controls are easy to use. It provides very good heat, and also can be left on for longer than many (most have 2 hours max then they turn off). This one can be left on for up to 24 hours - which he doesn't do but he can program it to stay on while he's in bed at night, which is a great option for relieving pain and allowing for better sleep. He's been VERY happy and has thanked me again and again for this. This is probably the best gift I have ever found for him. Highly recommend! -- Dee

plush, felt and worked great on my sore shoulders and neck the first day, HOWEVER the second day I couldn't adjust the time. When I moved locations then I couldn't get the temperature to work either. It would just flash quickly but not warm up at all. This would have been wonderful if it actually worked. I would have been happy if it worked more than 6 months.As it is, I spent too much money on something that doesn't work. I'll try to return it, but trying to get that done isn't always so easy.

I have purchased at least 6 of these heating pads for myself and several family members. They heat up well and are large enough in size to cover a significant area of the body; therefore, they are able to hit multiple areas of pain in one shot. The 4-star rating vs. a 5-star rating is due to the fact that they do not last for more than a year. However, this could possibly be because they are well used, which makes it more relevant to hours of use rather than a time factor (good for approximately one year).

This heating pad is easy to use. It covers yr whole back. Has magnets on collar to latch it around yr neck so it stays in place. I use 12 when I gave back pain & 11 when I just need a little pain relief. Def reccomendation.

Arthritis is painful. THIS is the BEST one piece heating unit I've found thus far. The thickness is just right. It's not too heavy no too light weight. There was a lot of thought that went into the construction of this. It's exceptionally comfortable and the ease of use is just that, VERY easy. I also like the size velcro belt that comes with it. It adjusts to the beer belly with even a little extra for a larger person. It's great for a smaller built frame person as well. It's wonderful and I would buy it again. The price is good for the great quality you're getting. Oh, nice length down the back also. The neck also is covered and gives the warmth that is so much needed. Thank you for making such a great product!!! UPDATE: just got hubby back from doc. They took x-rays of his neck and they found he has bad arthritis in his neck. After I submit this review, I am purchasing another just like this so he has one in our bedroom and one one the couch. He said this morning his neck felt better after using it on his neck. ITS SO WORTH THE MONEY.

This is a great heating pad. Works great in your office chair or your easy chair. The timer setting means you won’t accidentally leave it on longer than you wanted. Great for neck and back pain.
