What’s the gap in mm needed between the two screws?

It is approx 34mm for GROHE Essentials Toilet Paper Holder with Cover (see the video) which I just bought, not 24mm as another person saying.

Serious question: what's the benefit of having a cover vs not having a cover?

To give you extra cleaning and spread more germs thanks to poo covered hands touching it more. Good for those with OCD for cleaning but not germs.

Once you've got one GROHE accessory, you need to get the rest! Well made and look quality. Neat attachment to wall - I used screw/wall plug rather than the glue option but I'm sure that would work.
