I live in an old farmhouse, and I relocated a 100-year-old flower bed of peonies to an area beside the front porch. Anyone ever wonder why these beautiful flowers are seen far away from the house? Short answer, ants. Peonies flowers can't open without the help of ants eating the seams open. Therefore, my house is bombarded with ants this time of year after the flowers have died off. I have to keep EVERYTHING in containers and keep fresh ground cinnamon sprinkled in various areas because ants won't walk through cinnamon. This little stainless still shaker is the best of both worlds for my purposes. Its quality made and I love that it has a lid. With it holding 6 oz, it's the perfect size to sprinkle cinnamon, or powdered sugar over my baked goods. I wash it by hand and dry it immediately, so it doesn't have a chance to sit or rust. I've never had a problem with my stainless-steel rusting because I handle each piece the same. It's quite versatile in that you can use it for just about any ground herb or spice, making it a great value. I bought two more that's more suitable for salt. This has a fine mesh that I don't think would make a good saltshaker but makes it quite functional for so many other types of spice. This version was sold as a powder sugar shaker instead of a saltshaker. The other version has holes specifically for salt. If you're looking for powder sugar shaker, or make your own cinnamon sugar, I highly recommend this product. If you're looking for a salt shaker, I would look for one with holes instead of mesh. I believe it would last longer.

Great little shakers, I use them for rice flour for my bread making, and cinnamon in the other one. Holds a lot, no plastic all metal, perfect screen size for even distribution.

Excellent quality powder shakers. I use cinnamon, powdered sugar, monk fruit in mine. They are well built and very attractive at my expresso bar. The plastic lid seals the shaker very nicely and helps maintain freshness. They disperse the powder finely and as much or as little as you want, I just tap the side and it comes out perfectly.

Where has this been all my life??? I first saw this at the hospital cafeteria. When I used it, I came straight here to find it. I have 2 of them, 1 for cinnamon and 1 for powdered sugar. Everyone who uses them loves them. They are well constructed and seem to be able to withstand time and they have a plastic cover. Labels stick beautifully on both surfaces. They are wide making it easy to fill, and great price for being stainless steel making them rust resistant. No more cinnamon or powdered sugar clumping on my food. It lays a very nice and thin layer of product over your food.

Love! bought to put cocoa powder & powdered sugar in. i was always getting it everywhere. these are great and the plastic tops snap on to keep any moisture out.

I like the product for what I got it for to shake out detergent on the floor, but the plastic lid on one of them does not fit right. Otherwise, I would give it five stars. It was a little bit smaller than I thought it was gonna be too.

Good for cinnamon, chocolate powder, and powdered sugar.
