UPVC Letterbox Hinge Pin Flap Spring - Hex Ended

Does the job, fit perfectly. No instructions supplied so had to use good old Youtube.Align the new hinges by partly sliding them into either end of the letterbox flap - do not slide them all the way through. Use the supplied (orange coloured) hex tool to turn the hexagonal bit 180 degrees then whilst holding under tension, slide the hinge all the way in. Repeat with the other hinge and if done correctly, the flap should spring closed as per normal operation. Hope this helps.

Postman broke the plastic letter box hinge spring pin, though it was old to be fair.Originally got a replacement letterbox from Screwfix which I thought was the same, but it wasn't. The newer one was made in China cheap looking, and the gold metal flap was more orange. So decided to repair the old nicer one.Bought these which were a perfect fit. Expensive for what they are, but cheaper than having to find a decent new one, which would need modifying to fit thin uPVC doors anyway.

Arrived the next day and super simple to fit without needing any tools, my letter box is working perfectly again and I've avoided the hassle and expense of replacing the entire flap (what I was going to do before I realised I could get these hinge pins instead)

A lot of money for tiny bits of plastic. Someone with a 3D machine could make a killing. A few quid or a fiver more reasonable
