This is a good drum mat. Happy with my purchase

Holds my electronic drum set in place except for kick drum. Even tho it has velcro, the carpet does not work with the velcro. I need something else for the kick drum to hold in place. Again, this does keep my edrum kit in place just not kick drum.

Bought this to go under my son’s electric drum set. His bedroom is upstairs and we all knew when he was playing :-P with the mat under it absorbs a ton of the sound so it’s a dull acknowledgement now when he’s playing. He likes that it is squishier than his hard wood floor and warmer when the floor is cold.

It’s a little thinner than I thought but it is a nice quality carpet

I use this with a set of electronic drums. After only a month of use, the mat has ripped straight through where the spurs holding the bass drum pad are. It no longer stays still, and I have to adjust the bass drum pad every few seconds. I do not recommend this product, as it is clearly not durable enough for regular use.

I was a little hesitant when it was delivered just because of how it was folded. But once it was set up, it serves it’s purpose and it looks amazing.

The mat works fine, but two things aren't great:1. It smells AWFUL. Like seriously, like the most pungent sharpie. I put it in my living room, and now my whole living room smells awful. I washed it too, and it still smells. Going to buy something else for this exact reason.2. Does not do much sound reduction, you need something more heavy duty to really make a difference on that front.
