Bought so that I am able to trim the claw of 2 very naughty, spoilt puss-cats. Despite having had their claws trimmed regularly from when we first had them they both developed an aversion to their manicures... My vet recommended these hoods to me and I've found they do help calm the cats down. I still take my time though and make sure that any manicures end up on a positive note with treats and cuddles - we're getting there slowly but in the meantime these hoods are helping. I wholly recommend both product and seller.

A simple tool that works. My life and my kiitys will never be the same again as I remain scratch free and she will be groomed and fluffy once more.

I'm disgusted at this! Who would buy something like this? I would rather be scratched and bitten by my cat then to let him wear this barbaric item.

I bought the set because they were reasonably priced and I had no idea which size my cat would need. Who does? I'm using the middle size which fits very well. Becky has loooong fur that mats easily and it took at least 4 hands to hold, comb and clip out the mats and trim the rear end. With the muzzle (which slides on easily and holds well with the Velcro closure), I can do most of the job by myself. Because it covers her eyes, she seems calmer than before. And, even though she has never bitten me, now I don't have to worry at all during these grooming sessions. She's getting more used to the whole process. We work for a few minutes and when she starts getting too upset, I stop for a hug and pet break so she (and I) can calm down. She does sometimes drool and get the muzzle wet. I just wash it out with a little Dawn detergent in warm water, rinse it well and hang it up to dry. I've used it several times and it's holding up very well. And since I got the set, I have the other sizes available if needed for my tiny older female and my big male cat. I definitely recommend these.

This mask save me a trip to the vet. I adopted a stray old cat that I knew would never be able to trim his nails.I was able to use the right size mask and the kitty didn’t bite or scratch (it covered the eyes) and trimming was done in less than 3 minutes. Make sure you don’t let go before taking the mask off!

J'ai 4 persans. Je n'étais pas certaine de la grandeur de muselière à utiliser pour eux. La large ferait certainement pour un Main Coon! J'ai donné la Petite à ma soeur qui a un Cornish rex et elle l'adore. Et j'ai gardé la Moyenne pour mes chats car c'est la grandeur idéale pour eux. Après plusieurs utilisation, le velcro tient bon et est toujours en très bon état. Cette muselière s'installe facilement, se maintient bien en place et permet à mes chats de rester calmes dans des situations qui pourraient être stressantes pour eux. Maintenant que je connais bien les grandeurs, je n'aurais certainement pas besoin d'acheter un Kit avec 2 grandeurs qui ne font pas, mais le produit est de qualité.

Like that this product comes with 3 different size muzzles. Depending on the cat, it is fairly easy to put on and once on the cat quiets down almost instantly.
