I sometimes wondered what's the big deal about the sous-vide, and that's the consistency. Whether you cook your food for 2 hours or 2 days, the consistency is what makes or breaks the result. This thing is simple and it just works - set it up, dial in the temperature and it's doing its job as long as you do yours. Straightforward, works, what else do you need?

I was always interested in cooking the perfect steak, and this has made it happen. The app makes it easy to keep track of your temps and cooking time. Highly recommend

This is a genuine piece of garbage. You have to use app to set and maintain temp and timer. App spontaneously disconnects without warning or alarm that it has disconnected, so unless you constantly monitor the app, it will shut off stopping the heating and circulation of the water bath without notification of a problem and you are left wondering how long your food was actually kept at the designated temp. Additionally, the set temp varies up and down by SEVERAL degrees when it is actually running. And, best of all, this was a gift, so by the time it was opened and used the return window had closed, by 9 days! Horrible, horrible, horrible. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!! (BTW, I was forced to give this 1 star in order to submit the review - I would have preferred zero.)

I've had this for many years with no problems. Easy to operate manually or using the app. I especially like using this for turkey breasts which are hard to keep moist.

Simple to use and set up. Still can’t get the cooking part down tho. User error usually

This is a must have cooking aid. I have done steaks, chicken and pork chops. All were perfectly cooked and cut with a fork tender. It is so easy to brown the meat in a sautee pain with a little oil and butter, 20-30 second a side and dinner is served!

This has become one of my favorite purchases. It’s so simple to use. I've verified with other thermometers that the temp it is set to, is the temp it is actually providing. If you’re into steaks as much as I am, then this is the item for you.
