I did extensive research looking for something to fix my deep dehydration and acne issues without causing breakouts. I want to emphasize that it’s the combination of this essence used together with my new Korean skincare routine that gave me insane results from the very first use-no single product could do this alone. By using them together, my skin was so deeply hydrated and plumped up that my pores became a lot less visible overnight! This essence fits perfectly into the system, melting into the skin weightlessly to provide a beautiful, healthy glow without clogging my pores.

Best serum I ever purchased is suitable for dry skin and leaving the skin hydrated, good for people with textured skin or suffering from dark spots, it does the job recommended, korean skincare is always the best.

I absolutely love the COSRX Snail Mucin! The texture is so unique but in the best way! It’s lightweight, slightly stretchy, and absorbs really nicely into the skin without feeling heavy or sticky. It leaves my skin feeling incredibly hydrated, smooth, and nourished. I’ve noticed such a nice, healthy glow since using it, and my skin just feels more plump and balanced overall. It’s especially great when my skin is feeling a bit dry or irritated – it really helps to calm and restore it. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts ages, which makes it even more worth the price. It layers really well with the rest of my skincare too and doesn’t pill under moisturiser or SPF. If you’re looking for something that gives you that hydrated, glass-skin look while also being gentle on the skin, I’d definitely recommend this!

Bought this due to the hype online and have been using consistently for almost 2 weeks now. A good product to add into a skincare routine but not a holy grail IMO. Can help to achieve glass skin, but not on its own. See this as an active skin product - you will need to cleanse, tone, use this then apply moisturiser and serums Pros ✔️ Cost effective - large bottle and small amount required so will last a while ✔️ quality, simple ingredients. No long list of added fragrances etc ✔️ 2x daily use has helped to smooth my skin, improved the effectiveness of moisturising products and soothed blemishes before they escalate Cons ✖️ sticky texture - you’ll either love it or hate it. Personally I’m abit squeamish about snails so it reminds me of slime 🤢 reduce this by applying to wet skin (after cleansing and toning) and by patting to press into skin rather than rubbing

I have very sensitive skin, and have used all the most expansive products to help with my skin. My skin got much better over the last year but still wasn’t hydrated enough even when using the “best moisturizers” on the market. I decided to purchase COSRX snail serum considering all the reviews on it, and can confirm I would never go through another day without it. My skin has never looked better, the slight redness on my cheeks is gone, and skin is smooth (paired with usual routine, in my case retinol) I’m very pale so the tiniest spot/ red area/ bumpy area is visible and for the first time, there is none. I even managed to go out without foundation also for the first time. I can’t believe this was the solution all along, after spending an infinite amount of money on so many products.

Let me start by saying I have pretty good skin overall. It’s very dry but clear, and I’m also a beauty and skincare content creator so I’m used to trying out products and knowing what to look for. I bought this snail mucin essence during a sale because I kept seeing it all over TikTok and social media, and I was curious to see if it lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, for me it didn’t. I’ve given it a chance. I took it with me while travelling, used it consistently at home and on holiday, but I just didn’t get the results others seem to rave about. When I used it on its own it felt like it wasn’t doing much. My skin didn’t feel noticeably more hydrated or moisturised, and there was no visible glow or improvement in appearance. It didn’t break me out or cause any issues, but it just didn’t add anything either. That said, there are a few positives. The consistency is lovely and smooth, and I like the cooling feel when applying it. It sinks into the skin quickly and leaves it feeling soft to the touch. It’s also fragrance-free, which is a huge plus, especially for people with sensitive skin. And it’s a great travel size. It fit perfectly in my hand luggage and felt like a convenient addition to my routine when layered with other products. Interestingly, it did seem to work better on my mum’s skin. She has more mature combination skin, and it left her face looking more hydrated and plump. So it may just be one of those products that works differently depending on your skin type. In my opinion this isn’t a miracle product like it’s made out to be on social media but it could still be worth trying if you’re curious and want something light to layer in your routine.
