Brilliant , really works
Used one of these in the loft . It was easy to light and use , it killed all flies quickly . Just for safety I didn’t shut the loft hatch until I was sure it had extinguished and no flame remained , but all was ok . As suggested I put the bomb on a plate and then on a tin . Cannot comment on how long this will keep the flies out of the loft but I am sure they will return . At which point I now know I could use another bomb. Happy days !

Very effective but one application is not enough
This product is very effective at killing attic flies, however I have found over the past two years that I have been using this product that only one application every winter is not enough - which I guess is the reason why the product is sold as a twin pack. To really keep on top of your attic flies issue, I found that the product needs to be used three or four times during the winter. I use it mid-November; end of December; early February and mid-March to really control the flies. By mid-March as the temperature in the attic rises, any remaining flies will have left the loft space- until more return in late October/early November. However, on the whole this product is effective in terms of killing the flies you have in your loft space and creating a temporary smoky environment which should deter flies in the short term.

Always works, but some tips for controlling cluster flies below...
Not sure why this is asking me for a rating for it's "scent", definitely do NOT try smelling this when lit :)These always work for me, however so do other brand fumers. I just buy whatever is cheapest at the time. Many of them are just the exact same pot with a different sticker on.For large lofts I'd recommend shopping elsewhere off of a certain auction site and buying much larger fumers 'maxi' size, these aren't available on amazon and are 30g+ in size.Anyway, fumigate your loft in autumn/winter once a fortnight for a couple of monthsIn spring/summer as the weather starts to warm then add one or two red-top fly traps outside, these take a week or two to kick in as they're dependent on the heat.Repeat fumigating the loft in autumn/winter.This easily fixed my problem and I rarely see ANY flies at all inside or out.If you've also a problem with wasps/hornets then take a look at Andermatt wasp trap and attractant, these also take a while to work but when they get going then with the above you'll have no flies nor wasps/hornets anywhere.

Effective
I have a problem with flies in a mobile caravan. This is easy to use, I put in overnight and seems to get in everywhere and kill the insects. Doesn’t leave a smell.

Hot boxed
Well, the packaging was nice. Came in a lovely cardboard box, good sticky tape too. The items were as described, as in “in plastic blue and white packaging”. I was so excited when I heard the postman knock as I had ordered these, along with 6 of the small ones and the spray. I jumped for joy as I stabbed the box open, everything falling out. I read the instructions and ran upstairs to grab my cat to then explain them to her. Got some plates and wrapped them like a present with the tinfoil and placed 2 of these little fireworks on the floor of my bedroom. I then proceeded to spray the bed, room and myself with the spray as if I was in a rain forest. I then lit each of these little saucy nuggets, while backing my butt out of the room and quickly shut the door. I then watched Netflix and had a good nap, so did my cat; though I think she hates me for brining the fleas in.After around 10 hours and a few beers I crawled up the stairs, cat on my back ready to have a look at the new room that awaited us.As soon as I opened the door I had to claw through the smoke and open all the windows as if it was the hottest day of the year.Once it had cleared I began to inspect everything. Now I’m not sure if it’s the stuff, or I have Clark Kent fleas but they were still having a party in Ibiza on my bed. I swear one jumped on me and tried to say “ahah better luck next time b#*^¥” like Cardi B.So, it did as it said. Smoked my room, felt as though I was back at a school disco was ready to put on some tunes. Alas the fleas are still on their school holiday while their kids are resting. Maybe I’ll put 4 fire crackers In next time.Hey could’ve been worse though! At least they lit up!

Quite Small
These are half the size of the ones you get in a tin, but they do work, you just use 2 instead of one to eradicate beastly flies that fills the loft in September.

Worked really well
We noticed a lot of flies upstairs on the landing window, when we went into the loft and turned on the light there were hundreds of flies so we used two of these smoke bombs and they worked really well, killed all the flies.
