Following the sleeping curve of most people, adjusting fan speed by reasonable rules. Review: Powerful, quiet, & beautiful fan - With summer approaching, I was looking for one more fan to help keep my place cool and came across this in my browsing. Originally, I was just going to buy another HoneyWell QuietSet Tower Fan but the one I currently own developed an annoying sound when running after only 6 months. Being a fan of Levoit products, I decided to give this a try instead. Starting with the pros, the fan feels very powerful and I love the range of settings it has to help keep you cool. It doesn't have as many speeds as the Honeywell equivalent, but it makes up for it in its preset modes which include automatically detecting the temperature and adjusting the fan speed to compensate. Displaying the current temperature (and settings) is also a nice touch along with the addition to turn the screen off if you're using it at night. Oscillation works great and, as is standard with most tower fans, you can have it operate on a timer. To top it all off, it's also quite quiet. Moving onto the cons, I only have one and it's very minor. The oscillation isn't completely silent (understandable, but it is pretty quiet), which makes an occasional creaking sound as it turns. Not a major issue, but it's slightly annoying. Overall fantastic fan and much better than the Honeywell QuietSet. If I end up having any issues with this fan I'll come back and update this review, but otherwise you can assume that my statements here still stand. Review: Best Home Fan I have purchased from desertcart so far! - It wasl packaged very well. It arrived earlier than originally scheduled. It was SUPER EASY to assemble. The remote control was excellent and very intuitive. The night feature turns off the lights so you can sleep easily. The fan is also very quiet. Especially when compared to other fans I have purchased in the past.

Really quiet on sleep mode
The air covers the entire room plus itโs quiet on sleep mode, which is good because Iโm sensitive to loud noises :)

very tall, easy to set up and use, nice features, handy remote
I love the idea of a fan that takes up a small amount of real estate, yet is effective at cooling an area. I've had a standing oscillating fan, but the x-shaped legs are awkward to find room for, and the size of the fan itself is cumbersome. This tower fan is narrow and tall, and the base is round and wider, but not so wide as to take up a lot of space. The fan is actually taller than I anticipated, just about 3 feet tall from base to top, so there's plenty of range for the cooling fan to reach. The only thing you have to really do to set up the fan is to snap together the two pieces of the base, then remove a large plastic screw on the bottom of the fan, place the base on that, then screw the plastic piece back on over it and tighten. Then it's just a matter of peeling off the plastic covering the top and remote, pulling the plastic tab out of the battery compartment on the remote, and pulling off a piece of tape around the top of the tower. Remove the plug cover and plug in, and you're ready to go. The remote will start it up, change fan speed, set a timer and more. There is a nice manual to help you understand all the features. One nice thing on the remote is a button which silences the beep that the remote makes when using the buttons. That's handy for at night when you don't want to wake up your partner while changing the fan settings. The fan also can oscillate, or you can choose to have it stationary. I also found that what I thought was a handle with which to lift and carry the fan is actually a storage compartment for the remote. Although if you're not using the compartment, it probably can be used as a grip hold to carry the unit. Some of the fan's features are: - Normal mode, which allows you to manually choose the speed you want the fan to run on, from 1(low) to 5(high) - Turbo mode, which can be used with air conditioning to circulate the air. It oscillates and starts circulating at speed 5. It automatically detects when the air temp drops 5 degrees and will then lower the speed of the fan, and will increase speed when the temps increase. - Auto Mode , which detects the room's temperature and sets a fan speed. You can then adjust the fan speed as needed manually, or it will automatically adjust it up or down according to the room temp. - Advanced Sleep Mode, which shuts off the selection sounds, continues with the fan speed you have selected, and will decrease fan speed in an hour as the temperature stabilizes. It will also adjust the fan speed throughout the night according to the fluctuations in the room temperature. The manual also shows how to clean the fan, and I think it will be easy to cover and keep clean in the seasons you are not using it. I have been happy with Levoit products I have purchased in the past and am looking forward to many years of use from this fan.

Mother O Fans
Wow. Just wow. I am so happy. I have hot flashes can't sleep at night well at all. Also my ceiling fan broke. When I saw this pop up to try I got it ASAP I needed it! I had a very old Levoit. It was very dusty, loud, and the light kept me up. This is beatiful!! The nightime mode made it sound softer and turned all the lights off. It was sooo easy to install no hardware like screws, I had it together within 30 seconds. It tells you the degrees and it's a nice silent DARK cool breeze. The selling point for me was the washable grate, I have asthma and allergies and I need to be able to get those clean. The only huge issue I have with it, is that the remote comes with a battery and I have a toddler and a baby. So I packed it away somewhere high. Not a problem tho as you can set a timer right from the fan itself. I am very happy!!

Not what I expected. Went by reviews but they don't meet my experience.
The base is too wide to fit in close spaces. I don't get much cooling from it either. Not sure what all the hullabaloo was about. Lot of money for little product. Too bad.

So cooling and love the remote!
I find that I run hot and cold when I am sleep, so this is the perfect solution instead of always changing the AC. This is a tall tower with a low space footprint. I placed it about 6 feet away from my bed and it works fantastic and cools down my room fast. Whether I have it on the lowest setting, or in turbo mode, this fan is silent. Even when I turn on the oscillating mode, it is quiet. You can time the fan from 1 to 12 hours, or just leave it on all night. I use my remote all the time with it and it is better than AC for me. I have high ceilings so to cool down just one room, it is all central and costs a lot. With this fan, I can target the room I want without having to cool down all of the rooms in my apartment.

Looks great. Quiet. Effective. Easy to clean.
Main draw for this fan for me was that it's easy to take the grill and the blade (the blower) out and clean it. Maybe I've been out of the loop but this is the first vertical fan that makes it easy. Others I've had really didn't support that so I have to disassemble the fan to clean it. Not any more. It's so much easier with these Levoit fan. Besides the fact that it's easy to clean the fan - now that I've been using it for few weeks, I have to say, this is a really nice fan! It looks great. It's easy to setup and control. Convenient remote storage at the back of the fan is smart. It's also gets very quiet when in sleep mode - it's smart enough to dim the LEDs as well. The grill is tight enough that I don't have to worry about kids sticking their finger in it so it's safer as well. Over all, I love this fan so far. I highly recommend it!
