I recently installed this Cosmo range hood in my newly remodeled kitchen and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The design is sleek and modern, it works very efficiently at removing smoke and odors, and the installation process was straightforward. The stainless steel finish looks beautiful and really upgraded the overall look of my kitchen. Highly recommend this product if you’re looking for quality and style at a great price!

The light is dimmer than most are, but I mainly use it as a kitchen night light. My husband loves the amount of light it gives. The fan speeds are perfect. My husband likes that it can be changed to use a duct. All in all a solid buy with a great price.

The design looks so nice and the three aluminum filters are much better than the single one my old range hood had. It was easy for my husband to install and the fans work well.

I got this Range Hood because our new place didn't have great ventilation in the kitchen. There is only a down-draft vent that did nothing to remove odors or steam/smoke. Moreover, the down-draft being next to the stove meant it sucked the fire towards it as well, making it impossible to cook. This Cosmo Range Hood was a lifesaver. It came with detailed instructions and templates to attach the unit to the wall or under the cabinet. Very easy to install. Would recommend that you get someone professional, but if you are handy enough, it is super simple to install DIY as well. And best of all, it is renter-friendly. It only requires anchor holes in the wall or simply screws to the cabinet. We asked, and our landlords had no problem with wall-mounting, but I bet, a strong command strip with painters tape would work as well too for those who aren't allowed to drill holes in their rented place. Plus, with the ductless odor filter option, we didn't need to rewire the vent pipes or anything. I know ductless hoods have a bad rep, but for us, it worked great. Controls are easy, fans are powerful; we don't even need to use high settings most of the time. And so far, the CFK4 Carbon Filter (sold by Cosmo) is pretty good at eliminating most odors, at least way better than the previous down-draft vent we had. Great product for the price!

Looks really nice, but it wasn't the easiest to get installed! The guy who helped needed a while to figure out how to convert the wiring from the included plug and cord to a back-wired installation; that worked OK, but when we went to do the ductless conversion, despite ordering a genuine Cosmo CFK4 Filter, it would simply NOT attach the way it was supposed to. Finally in desperation we used some duct tape and simply taped it in place and replaced the screens. Hey, it's working, and for the price, I'm happy. Looks good, works well, quite quiet. The lights are a bit dim, and I don't like the way they are placed at the back; it would have been much better to have them in the middle. But I can live with it.

Our old range hood had to be replaced and we knew we would want one this time that had lights- the previous one only had a fan- and when we came across this Cosmo Range Hood in our search, my wife and I both agreed that this was the one that was going to cover all our needs. The lights are great, giving off a lot more light than than their small size would suggest. I wish Cosmo had also included some lights along the front, but it's not 100% necessary. The material is light enough that I was able to install it without any human assistance- I did use a sturdy cardboard box to help hold it up on one end while I drilled in the screws on the opposite end- and it fits great under our cabinet without sticking out too far to interfere with cooking. The power of the fans was great to pull the heat out the vent while I was roasting some vegetables and the sound levels weren't nearly as loud as I thought they would be. I am looking forward to cooking more now that I will be more comfortable and be able to better see what I'm doing.

if you have older 12" deep cabinets, mounting could be tricky because you need nearly 1" for the power cord. it is feasible to adjust the plastic piece holding the power cord straight but that's a 'better know what you're doing' type issue. power is 44" long maybe in the factory, after internal routing you get about 35" (in my case) half an hour or so peeling off blue stuff and under 10 minutes to mount it. As someone looking for as simple an install as possible i scored 100% with this unit. Install was easy, i measured and drilled the holes for the front first, sat the unit on the screws (its lite enough) and quickly mounted the rear pair of screws. The front and rear have the wide holes that narrow so you can slide the hood on and off, i didnt want that and the rear has permanent holes so i used those. i was worried about vibrations and 'keeds' :) It looks nice and clean and i never thought about it but i appreciate the lack of some big stupid logo on the unit. its just the buttons and looks clean. the metal is thin but decent, doesnt bend or ding easily. The leds are nice, good amount of light, i got the 6500k to match my kitchen. The blue stuff wow, I ended up being impressed by how scratch resistant it is. its too bad they couldnt wrap my car in it. fan is good, its what i expected, its not silent but even on low the steam etc from the stove immediately flows up and out. there's a low whine, its low though so fades into the background easily. its there but low and i dont have to adjust my volumes when its on low or medium. I didnt test high, low-med gets me what i need. super happy, totally recommend.

The Hood arricved as advertised. Removed it form the box and was installed in less than 40 mins. The fan and lights are great and the noise level is lower than my previous one a Broan brand White. I just had my new gas ranger installed earlier and looks great in my updated kitchen.
