Beach Bum Berry's Taboo Table Paperback – January 1, 2013

Update: we still use this book frequently for recipes. Especially a modified version of the Pitcairn salad dressing.This book is amazing and was added to our existing collection about many books on cocktail history, Hawaiiana, and vintage 60's tiki bars, etc. I made several food recipes and we made a few cocktails, but more importantly we absorbed all the history, art, and amazing tiki detail. Kudos to the Bum and Mrs. Bum. Pop into Latitude 29 some day and you may find us at the bar. Mahalo!

Cooks and barkeeps will tell you that its an arduous task to assemble a few recipes from the past. Toss in the fact that its tiki cuisine and the difficulty level rises significantly. This is a serious flashback for the taste buds. There is a recipe for Mai Tai Pie! 'nuff said.

Beach Bum Berry is a bad ass! This book is great! As are the rest of his books. He has great information for anyone interested in the Tiki world not trying to learn wrong information that is out there in abundance with the people recently jumping on the Tiki Bandwagon.
