There is a ground switch pin
Seems to be high quality so far. Nut was not as good as the one that was in my bass so I didn't end up using it. As others have said DO NOT bend the tabs. They're a hardened steel that snaps easily. It does make it a little tough to solder, but just put it in a little loose so you can rotate it to get a good solder angle.

Great for diy guys
Used this to convert my Fender Frontman 65 1x12 into a speaker cab when the amp died. Works great, and makes a solid connection. Only giving 4 stars because there were no instructions, but I was able to figure out which pins to use by testing continuity with my multimeter; something I would recommend owning anyway if you plan on doing a lot of DIY electrical work.

Works perfectly
Don't pay more for a output barrel jack just due to the name. I would bet that most of these are made in the same factory anyway. Works perfectly and fixed a worn output for my Ibanez guitar. Will buy again.

Works but
I bought this to fix my jack which had bigger issues. This one works but if I bump it it cracks loudly and disconnects. Everything is soldered in so I don't know what's going on.

Input replacement in less than 24 hours to my doorstep, after 2 unsuccessful music store trips
A great replacement barrel shipped to my doorstop within a day of purchase. Went to 2 separate music stores for this simple input and came up empty handed. How? Why? Well, they want me to drop off my guitar and have them solder a whole two points for me while charging me a ridiculously high repair fee than have the part available to the customer for sale.In the past I would have gone to Radio Shack and skipped the music store. I should have just come to Amazon first. This is the type of shopping experience example that brick and mortar need to learn from in order to please their customers. Any musician can tell you how ridiculous trying to buy musical gear and/or parts can be just due to how the Music retail chains treat customers. As for the build quality, installation/repair was a 10 minute breeze, most of that time being the heating of the solder gun. Great connection to the 1/4" cable with a solid lock and click sound. Cable is locked tight with no movement and very little buzz. Input has been installed for several months now with no issues. Being an internal barrel connection I know the life of this input is limited, so over time the internal connection will degrade, in which I will once again replace the input.

Good solid connector.
Nice finish, complete set of hardware included, easy to solder.NOTE, this connector installs from the outside and the nut goes on the inside. The ferrule on the outside does not unscrew.

Fits IBANEZ J Custom very well
I just installed this in an IBANEZ J custom fits perfectly but I have no idea of the quality yet or how long it will last because we all know barrel flush mouht jacks break easy and some break so quickly there not worth buying. But I do not know yet if this will last long enough to be a good product.

Great 1/4 inch Stero sockets
Good quality item for stereo headphones or effects pedal (Do not buy if you need to replace a guitar socket as they are mono)

Absolutely hopeless
Buy a switch craft one and save your frustrationsThis has the most numb feeling on inserting a Jack plugThen crackles and breaks contact as bad as the Brocken one it was replacingAvoid

Dose not come with pin schematic.
I replaced my original 1/4" jack on my Spector which had become intermittent.Installation was a breeze after testing the contact points with an ohm meter.
