Wood Carving gouges
These are a different type of gouge from the usual European ones I'm use too, but 8 for £20 pounds is a good price so I thought I give them punt.They are straight from the forge, still have soot on them, and need sharpening but any wood carver worth their salt won't find that a problem.Sweep is equivalent to a number 5 and the sizes are 3mm,5mm,7mm.11mm, 13mm,15mm,20mm and 25mm, they already have the inner bevel ground, so sharpening is easy and they hold their edge well. Good set of chisels, at a good price give them ago.
