Very impressed - *Not DIY Friendly*
Let me first start off by saying this isn't a DIY option, if your intention is to buy this product and simply replace your existing switch then you are going to run into problems (maybe an exception for new build houses). The switch requires a neutral wire for it to work do not look behind your current switch and see a blue/black wire and assume this is a neutral because the chances are it's a switch wire, please seek expert advise.Package is nothing special it comes in a standard white box with a set of basic instruction, the device itself looks sleek and feels to be made of decent material, the face of the switch has a smooth glass finish it also a bit of weight and not your typical light cheap plastic feel. The whole unit is quite deep and will most likely require you to change your back box or purchase an extra spacer, I wanted the unit to be as flush as possible to the wall so I went ahead and replaced my back box with a 47mm one, this gives you plenty of room for cable clearance ect.. (note the contacts for the cable come directly out of the back of the unit so you'll need to take this into consideration)The front glass fascia separates from the body of the unit allowing you to access the screw, this can be difficult to remove be patient and do one tab at a time, once you've secured the unit to the wall hook the glass fascia back to the main body.I synced the device up using the Smart Life app, the instructions for connecting the device to the app didn't work for me I had to use AP mode in order for the switch to connect to my router.Overall i'm very happy with the unit I have it hooked up to my Alexa and it's never failed my, I've had power off to my house a couple of times and each time power has been restored the device has automatically connected backup to the internet.

Good WiFi controlled light switch. Some issues.
Update: the touch buttons stopped working after 3 month's. I switched off the current, removed front panel and pulled out PCB board and put everything back together and the buttons are now working fine (app control was still working). To be honest I think the power reset would have sorted the button issue.---Remember - you need a neutral feed in your back box. This isn't suitable for a loop System that tends to be more common in UK lights. Spurs will have neutral so this may be used for outside wall lights or sometimes where you have multiple lights in one room. Best to open up current switch and check. Consult qualified electrician if in doubt. You will need a 35mm back box for this. The one I received did not have any illuminated symbols apart from the illuminated rings for the switches. So you can mount so the the switches are either vertical or horizontal. With metal back box that have vertical and horizontal lugs, you'll need to bend back and flatten a pair depending on if you mount switch horizontally or vertically.Once wired up ensure you switch off 5ghz from your router so that you can use the app to connect the switche to the WiFi (only connects on 2ghz). Once connected you can switch 5ghz back on. I already had eFamilyCloud installed and this switch works fine with that app. eFamilyCloud has timer and scene functions.I did have a problem with the switch rings not illuminating properly but I got the switch replaced. When installing the PCB board can push in as it's not very secure and potentially loose connection to the power. If that happens just align it again.Overall a great switch and also works with Alexa.

Failed after 3 days. Terrible instructions. replacement now failed too
Sucks to install, instructions for easy connect doesn’t connect, unless you change your router to WPS onlyThe access point version instructions you need 30seconds not 5 for each type. Failed after 3 daysThe replacement failed after a month. doesnt even work to touch

Difficult to set up, but very smart once working
The instructions are terrible and linking to Alexa is not entirely obvious, but once sorted it is slick and works exactly as hoped. It is entirely compatible with UK wiring but is not wired in the same way as a conventional switch. The switch is quite deep and may require a spacer for a shallow back box.

Not what it says it is
I bought this because it said it was 2 gang and 2 way. It is actually 2 gang but only one way. I'm not saying you treated me unkind, could have done better but I don't mind, you just kinda wasted my precious time, but don't think twice its alright. Actually , it's not.

Works great! Good value
Having already a neutral It worked great first time, as others have said you will probably need a 10mm box extension and longer screws to fit it flush unless you have a deep box. I suspect fitting will be similar with all these type of switches.Using the Smart Life app and after connecting to your wifi with a long switch press just ask alexa to find devices and she adds 2 switches which she can control independently or together. It also has two dim leds for touch operation in the dark. All very impressive...

Came broken out of the box. Also very deep ...
Came broken out of the box. Also very deep & would have been hard to fit in any Irish light switch boxes.

Works well, but not as I intended.
I bought this item to replace a light switch in my kitchen, but on removing the current box, this one would not fit, due to the clearance in the cavity. I have since installed it in my garage, and it works perfectly, if not better than I had imagined. The light switch for my garage is near the end that the car drives in, with the pedestrian door at the other end. This means when I want to put clothes in my drier, in the garage, it is simply a case of asking google to turn on the garage light, on my way out of the house.
