Good sound, really solidA proper sub. I was. Unimpressed with the Kenwood underseat units so mad my own box to fit under my VW T5 Transporter seat. I was a little nervous of making a DIY set up but it works really well and came in cheaper than the 8" underseat Kenwood sub by pairing with a used amp I picked up locally. It sounds really good even I've yet to properly run it in so can't push it hard yet. I really recommend this sub as. It works well in a small sealed enclosure yet its a 'proper' sub, not like the lightweight, wafer thin active subs designed for underseat applications.
