43.3" Tall Fireproof Wall Safe Between Studs 16" Centers with Hidden Bottom

We are very pleased with the quality of this wall safe. It is heavy-duty construction and it was simple to install. I love how flush it is to the wall, making it simple to hang a picture over it. The false bottom is a nice feature to hide valuables. The shelves are removable. You do have the option to use a key to lock/unlock or to program with a four digit number. Great Value!

I have been looking for a wall safe that had the interior room and digital keypad that this safe has for some time. It is exactly as advertised. It installed in the wall between studs in less than 30 minutes with the lag bolts provided. I removed one shelf so allow for larger documents and the lower hide-a way area is perfect for small loose items. It comes with hooks on the inside top of the door for keys and there is a small interior light that provides a small amount of light if needed. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend.

First it's important to say I like the safe. It appears sturdy and well made. However, if you think you're going to fit a full size rifle or shotgun inside, you may be disappointed (depending on the weapon). The locking mechanism of the safe extends into the 4 inch wide storage area, leaving about 2.5 inches. So something as simple as a charging handle might be in the way of the safe closing. For example, a KSG is too wide to fit into the safe and have the door close. As you can see by the picture, you're not going to fit more than one or two "long guns" inside either. It depends on where the wide part of the weapon is. With the 3 shelves that come with the safe, you should be able to fit a good amount of pistols though. Just something to consider before you buy the safe. Again, for my purposes, I am happy with this safe.

We believe ought the cream one and it’s a perfect match to the walls. Good quality, includes great directions. Key and touchpad work great. I’m not beeps with keypad. Shelf is a great addition. I added some hooks for additional storage.

Safe had obviously been repacked and resold as new with a re-taped and damaged shipping box to boot - it had no paperwork, packaging materials, keys, hardware, etc and the safe door was bent inwards as if someone had crushed it in to the frame by jumping up and down on it out of frustration. The safe itself is very solid so there is no way that type of damage could have occurred any place in transit with it in the box. The factory shipping box was also reused several times and re-tapped in several different layers and the plastic bag which I am guessing the safe may have originally been wrapped in was stuffed in to a corner of the box and stuck inside with even more packing tape. As for the safe itself obviously there is no way to test or open the safe to program a code without keys - as others have mentioned in their reviews this seems to be a pattern. The safe itself seemed to be of good quality and weighed about 50lbs but that is about all the good things I can find to say. Would not recommend this brand simply due to my experience and reading the same experience had by others with the same issues. Thankfully I checked the safe out before I cut a hole in the drywall.

Well built, easy install, Works very well and looks nice in the wall. Fits perfect in a 3-1\2" deep stud space with 1 \2" drywall.

This safe will NOT be a good buy for those who have rifles with accessories on the rail, or really, any AR. There's a raised spot where a strap is built-in, and then the lock mechanism box protrudes into the interior of the safe when closed. DO NOT buy if you have AR's- the safe door will not close. Lights, devices, B5 stocks... this thing isn't the move for long pews because the raised spot on back (can't remove) and the door's locking mechanism (can't remove) contacts the items inside and prevents it from closing. Not a single, bare, AR can fit. It's okay for everything else, but if it has length, no bueno.

I bought this wall safe for my mother-in-law and she is very happy with it. It’s spacious inside and fits many things perfectly.

Happy with the product. I knew what to expect from a wall-depth safe, as the images for the product are not realistic. Easy install. I doubt that it is fire proof/resistant as it is sheet metal with no insulating factor.

likely my own fault, didnt really look at the dimensions, it is quite thin and so we aren’t able to lie them down so all documents have to be stood up, having said that its not easy to find a decent fire proof wall safe, in that respect its good
