Comes in handy
Great for pinball and slot machines to avoid broken bulbs. Not perfect but they do the job

Yaaassss!!! Finally! A must have!!
I almost didn’t buy this because all the reviews I read were about car bulbs. I’ve had a broken globe bulb base stuck in a ceiling fan for over a year! A. YEAR!!! Everything I’ve tried did not work. I needed a tiny rubber grip and the regular bulb extractors are waaaay too big. Bought this anyway coz…. why not it’s been over a year and I can always return it if it doesn’t work. The broken bulb base was too narrow to insert the tongs into it closed so I opened it and used one grip to slowly turn the base until I could see the edge come up over the socket and finished getting it out myself. I swear I heard angels singing as the clouds parted and the sun shined down on me! Ha! Ok I exaggerated that last part. But this little miracle worker is a must have for anyone who has tiny based light bulbs. 2 thumbs up and a harp string strum. 🤭 Happy happy!

Works well
I bought it for replacement of Christmas decor light bulbs. Area that is to small for your hand this works well. Happy with purchase.

They work but!
The rubber really doesn’t prevent you getting a spark if you still have electric on. But if don’t when they work well on candelabra bulbs

Worked Great for Small Space
Rubber coated clamps worked great. The two sides do not close evenly on each other but this did not appear to hinder performance. Used primarily to remove/install directional/high beam/parking brake indicators that were in a tight space on a 1978 Corvette.

Won't fit through small holes in playing surface while holding a light bulb
The thick polymer covering on the "grabber" ends of the forceps got in the way when trying to replace light bulbs accessible through small holes on the playing surface of the pinball machine. The forceps simply would not fit. I had to cut off the polymer cover to get the forceps to fit through the small holes while actually holding a light bulb. Now, with just a bare metal surface contacting the glass or plastic (LED) light bulb, they slip a lot and it is difficult to insert or remove the bulb. These worked ok for light bulbs either above the playing surface or under larger holes, but the small holes are much more plentiful. I would recommend looking for something more suitable.

I love tools but this isn't really one
So in concept this thing's awesome. However in practice it's very poorly done heavy heavy rubber dip on the gripping surfaces make them too thick and slick. I saw one guy mentioned wrapping sandpaper around the bulb but at that point why wouldn't I have just put tape around it and pulled it out? The entire idea here is a rapid No Nonsense tool to replace bulbs in applications where the bulb is in an extremely tight fit or too small to get normal adult fingers around. Wrapping sandpaper around it kind of defeats the purpose I could have just wrapped sand paper around the original bulb and use normal pliers. I briefly contemplated 3D printing serrated grips out of TPU when I realized I paid for a product that worked I can 3D print TPU grips for any pair of pliers and solve the problem. So that's exactly what I did and these went right back to Amazon to sit on a Shelf
