FiiO M15S Desktop/Portable Digital Audio Player

This DAP is a nice balance between needing something portable and powerful. I am using it with Apple Music and Sennheiser IE600 and HD800s and it sounds fantastic, pretty much holds it own against the Sennheiser HDV820 headphone amp and dac. Other than that it is a FIIO player so is well built and comes with a nice set of extras, including a cooling stand and a nice leather case. Expensive, but worth it.

The Pros: UI: Fast, reliable Android interface (no glitches or crashes like other DAPs I've used. Sound: Excellent, if somewhat clinical sound. Actually, the tuning falls just on the warm side, so it's not dry or fatiguing. And, boy does it excel in.... Soundstage and Separation: Fantastic! Power: Great.. it laughs at IEMs, and powers my Sundara and 6xx headphones effortlessly. Battery: Let's just say, I run out of listening time way before the battery is even down 50% Reliability: This is a FiiO product and altho' some claim that they're the Honda of audio - for me, that reliability and consistency of quality is something I appreciate. I loved driving a Saab, but I didn't love all the time spent at the mechanic. The Cons: This DAP is BIG. A brick. Not too big to pocket-carry, but heavy. I like it because it feels solid and well-made - which it seems to be. Part of that size is so that you can use it as a desktop amp/dac. Not of interest to me. That said, my other DAP, the Shanling M6U is the perfect size: petite and powerful; however, it lacks the consistent reliability of the 15s. This DAP comes with its own case (as opposed to the Shanling). So the price difference is very small if you're going to spring for the Shanling case. It also does not get as hot as the M6U, which will overheat to the point of making music clip. This is all about personal taste of course (especially the tuning). I recommend trying this baby out for a week or two, learn its personality and your affinity to its tuning (which for me grew over time).

Habe diesen edlen Musikplayer seid Oktober.Jeder Musikfreak muss sich erstmal mit ihm warmlaufen.Aber dann geht die Post ab.Hab nur hochwertige FLAC-Dateien als Zuspieler.Ich betreibe ihn mit einen Denon AH-D7200.Die beiden passen super zusammen.Die Bedienung mit Android 10 ist auch easy.Er ist schnell,hat keine Ruckler und Abstürze bis jetzt.Naja die beiden Teile kosten schon etwas,aber der Mehrwert ist für mich beim Musik hören unbeschreiblich.Er macht einen tollen Sound von Rock über Techno bis Klassik.Was der Fiio aus FLAC-Dateien heraus holt ist schon Mega. Ich würde ihn wieder bestellen.Dank an Amazon für euren guten Service.

Una auténtica joya. Es mi botiquín, unidas de cuidados intensivos y paliativos también. Increíble el sonido que destila unido a unos buenos auriculares, en mi caso unos beyerdynamic 1990 pro y unos Fiio FA19. El aparato en sí es de mucha calidad en su elaboración, diseño así como en el completo equipamiento del que viene dotado. Con una gran pantalla, un funcionamiento fluido y múltiples opciones. Todo un acierto su compra, para mí algo caro pero el cuidado que me proporciona es impagable.

Excelente equipo, calidad de sonido grado audiofilo, el sonido es muy detallado y brillante, vengo de utilizar el Fiio M11 pro y fue una muy grata sorpresa este M15s.
