Good quality product
If like me you have a Landrover Freelander 2 and want to do an oil change yourself, the easiest way to remove the filter cartridge is to buy one of these ratchet spanners. It worked well and was easy to use. Unfortunately it will be another year or so before i can use it again, but beats the cost of putting it into the local garage, so overall a good product, would recommend

Very Good Quality for the Price
I purchased this small 10mm ratchet spanner to speed up the tightening of 6mm earthing bolts, as I use a lot of 6mm bolts, nuts, flat washers and locking washers to earth all manner of electrical equipment. Due to the awkward position of these bolts and the fact that they usually have crimped earthing rings attached to them you usually spend too much time tightening the bolts, especially with 2 open ended spanners. I have meant to buy one of these spanners for a considerable length of time and have eventually done the deed as it were.I can only say that I should have done it a long time ago because this spanner has saved me a lot of time since I have been using it. Tightening up the earthing bolts has never been so easy or as fast, I tighten the bolt or nut with this ratchet spanner until it starts to get tight then turn it round as I don't want to over tighten with the ratchet as I want to preserve the life of the ratchet end. The flexible head also allows you to be able to use the spanner in very restricted positions and adds to the versatility of this tool. This is a good quality tool when considering the price I paid for it and the benefits in respect of the time I save when using it, highly recommended for anyone in the market for a 10mm flexible head ratchet spanner.Update: Since I have started using this spanner on a regular basis I have noticed that other makes of the same type and size of spanner are much thicker around the ratchet head, as I borrowed one of these spanners when I mislaid mine one day and found that the thicker ring size can restrict access to awkwardly positioned nuts and bolts, especially when the nut or bolt is horizontally situated close to a vertical bulkhead.

Very useful
Good quality spanner especially considering what it cost. Perfectly functional, I use it regularly on the farm and have had no problems with it. just the job for getting at hard to reach belt tensioners on the combine. The ratchet mechanism is smooth and only requires a small arc to advance a tooth on the mechanism. Finish on the spanners is fine and they still look good after a year in the toolbox.Very useful type of spanner to have, definitely recommended at this price.

handy ratchet spanner
I wouldn't say this is the very highest quality tool, but it's not bad and for the money and for light use it's a really good buy for the price. As I tend to lose spanners and sockets before I ever wear them out, paying five times as much for a Snap-On equivalent just isn't worth it :)Very handy to have flexible head and ratchet spanners, particularly for working on cars and it's great to be able to buy the common sizes you need individually rather than an expensive set (e.g. Halfords) with sizes you never use.If you register online the spanners have a lifetime guarantee too.
