Great Investment 👍
👉We have tried other security measures, but this IHOXTX Security Camera does a great job. It is truly "as advertised". These security camera prices are good. Especially with the technology involved and the quality of the product. 👉With my 5 star review, I included a 6 second daytime video, a night time image and a color image from our 1st IHOXTX Security Camera. 👉All the functions that this IHOXTX Security Camera offers - images/videos/sound/motion detection/memory storage with use of CloudPlus App - are precisely sharp and with great clarity. 👉Solar charging panel could be a bit larger and longer connection, but we are still impressed by how good it works! 👉The 2 way speaker microphone sound and recording are very clear. 👉Lights are bright for colored night images use and the range of clear coverage is perfect. 👉The motion detection is great as seen in my posted images/video. 👉Notifications work great with the Cloud Plus App. 👉Everything is explained well in the CloudPlus App and you can modify settings to your liking. With being impressed, we bought another IHOXTX Security Camera but have not set up yet. Will update. 👉Easy set up and solar charge works great. 👉My opinion of our 2 IHOXTX Security were good investments so far. 👍From our use of IHOXTX Security Camera, I recommend for anyone wanting or needing security cameras to try these IHOXTX Security Cameras. So easy to install everything and feel more secure knowing how good this one works.

So pleased with this camera and customer support!
So, I took a chance on this camera as a supplemental security camera at the end of my driveway. I mounted it to a tall juniper bush at the entrance to the driveway but found that the sun wasn't getting to the solar panel through the branches enough to keep it charged sufficiently. Not surprising at all but thought I'd try anyway. I moved the solar panel to a small stake just a couple of feet from the bush and all good. I liked the versatility of this thing and being able to put it just about anywhere as long as the sun is able to hit it. Liked the many features it has and especially the intercom capability so I ordered another one to put on the opposite side of my entrance so we can see cars going up and down the lane from both directions. While installing the camera onto another tree I accidentally cut the wire for the solar panel and was furious with myself as I was being so careful not to do that while trimming some small branches. I contacted the seller and sheepishly admitted to my blunder and asked if it was possible to get a replacement panel for the unit... not really expecting anything of the sort. They immediately reached out and offered to send me a new one and lo, I received it a couple of weeks later, from China of course! The new camera I installed wasn't getting enough sun either so I simply charged the unit with a portable power bank for a couple of hours and it has been going for weeks now only on battery power and still showing full capacity. If you can get to your camera easily to charge it the solar aspect is not even necessary which makes this camera extremely versatile as long as you can access your wifi signal. My units are about 70 feet from the router and work well most of the time. Once in a while there is some lag when first connecting to the units but it always gets up to speed momentarily. I love the free recording storage for alerts... really all I need without having to pay for more and it has so many features that I am pretty amazed at the this camera's performance for it's price point. Couldn't be happier with the product and the above-and-beyond customer service.

Great solar camera
Let me start this review of by saying I bought this for my chicken coop to see which dog or chicken or animal was eating my eggs. I have tried 2 other camera systems. 1 wired 1 wireless. My last I had just moved my backyard wireless camera to the coop. Unfortunately we had a bad storm the next morning and our electric kept going on and off for about 2 hours. It fried our camera system. Bummer. I needed to see who the egg thief was. Now to the good. I went on Amazon. I didn't have a huge budget. I found this camera and decided I could risk it. It would be here by 7am the next morning. Perfect! And the fact I didn't have to run a 100ft+ extention cord out there was even better! The camera itself is about the size of a 3 yr Olds hand. So small. The sollar charger is about the size of my husband's hand. Both the camera and the solar charger have one mount. You just screw it on. Super simple. It has a way to move the camera around to angle this and that way. And then to stabilize it. It comes with mounting hardware, 3 drywall Anchors and 3 screws. Yall, this is SIMPLE. Make sure you give it a little chargey charge before you take it outside. You'll need to set it up with the app so you can see where it's facing etc when setting it up. But you just scan a qr code on the paper download the app. Then it is super simple from there. Basic step by step instructions. I went all over my coop which is quite large, looking for the perfect spot for internet that wouldn't lag. The app is great at telling you, this spot is not going to work. And this spot is going to work great. I can get on the app and see pretty much 90% of my coop. I see everywhere I need. That's the main thing. Everytime I check the app, it takes a second to load the video and then it's up and running. The best part, you can go into the settings and have a small screen play on the background of other apps. You can add up to a 128gig Sim card for backup. Or you can purchase their monthly subscription plan for about 3$ a month, they have 2 different plans. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get their free version to work. But thats not a problem, as I want to be able to download more then 6 seconds at a time if need be. One last thing. In their app, you can go and customize and pick where it will notify you if something gets in the picture. I did it surrounding the nesting boxes and about a foot out in front, thankfully our dogs are quite big, so they don't register as animals. When I am away, I can go in the app and either use the alarm, or yell at the dogs to get away from the boxes. And I know the voice is loud bc even the basset hound who doesn't like to listen hears me and takes off running. This has exceeded my expectations

The best so far/Update/update 2/update 3
Update 9 days later and battery died. Won’t recharge via solar panel that was included nor power cord. Even used a better one to make sure. Send feedback to customer support. I am giving update because as of now until resolved it’s not working. I may have to return it though. I’m trying to avoid that because now I have to get back up there and take down all the brackets that came with it. I will be buying more of these cameras. I glad I gave this a try. I have a Reolink and these cameras are better. What impresses me about these cameras is as you can see by the photos, they are clear pictures. They have a spot light that is bright. And most of the cameras in this value range don’t have an sd card slot, these do! The app that you use with this canvas is a really good app you can do so many things you can turn on the light and you can set off the alarm. You could look at the Steve card if you purchase, cloudy and look at cloud it really is a good app that comes with it. I will be switching out my real links with these because they are far better as I’ve mentioned before. And they include a solar panel. You can’t beat that. Update#2 So, in the end, this might be a long review. But I want to make sure that people understand before they buy and also get an idea of what I went through. Now in the end, each one can decide. I did receive a new camera. The other one in the end would not charge, nor can I connect it to the Wi-Fi. Now, they are going to be times when something happens. It could’ve been a bad battery internally and maybe got damaged a little bit and shipping or just came that way. So I’m the benefit of the doubt on that. I stay ready for connected for me very fast no issues. The view was pretty clear as a lot of extras but I like such as the night light. As mentioned before I do have a ruling in my opinion, these were just as good. So we’ll see how long this last and I’ll provide another update. Many times we think because of the price they won’t last very long but they should. In the end, the cam is worth buying. 3/3/23 after battery not recharging I decided to do a little research. I found that some settings do you consume more battery. Now it becomes a balancing act whether not some of those features I can deal with out. I can and I still am able to have it to wear it alerts me of movement. now of course being outside and the weather didn’t help very much. So I found also that the solar panels small so it might not be as powerful maybe or that’s it save as much power if that makes sense? Motorcars of a figure once I think you’re able to absorb battery power faster. I will say after calling some suggestions I did disable some settings I did help the battery and so far it’s worth it. I want to go to Jesus about that but if you look at the settings, it will actually tell you what to do. OK suggestions and I find that it does work. Know what I like to be able to have all settings enabled? Sure package is always a balancing given the price of the camera. Now once again, the picture it to me. Great I think it’s just a cigarette is the expensive ones and I do like that I can enable a disable the light function at night. It doesn’t work really good ad I find that this function probably better than once again most high end cameras.

Easy, wireless, powerful and convenient
Theses security cameras are wonderful. I have no complaints. It being all wireless, no messy wires to deal with. The solar powered grid is fast charging during daylight hours and stays fully charged at night. Even cloudy days it still charges at a nice rate. The wireless feature I would say is the best part. You can conveniently move it anywhere you want with in Wi-Fi range. It’s easy to set up as well. I pay $1.99 a month for I’m assuming storage and playback of triggered events if that’s not why I pay $1.99 a month then whatever I pay that for it’s worth whatever services I’m getting to run this little power house of a camera. The playback of triggered events are always clear and very quick after the sensor is triggered. Night vision playback is crystal clear. I think there is 3 lights that help play a role in the excellent night vision playback. It has all kinds of setting to tailor this camera to your liking. My trigger play back for each event was set on 8 sec of recording time but it wasn’t enough for me so I played around with the settings until I figured out how to make it longer and I made it record now up to 20 seconds. I could praise this little camera for days. It just brings me so much piece of mind while I’m at work and I get an alert on my phone I can quickly look to see what’s going on at my house, or just check things out in real time. I’ve owned a few wireless security cameras over the years and this by far is the best priced, working easy camera I’ve ever owned. So much I’ve already bought a second one. I don’t have it set up but I’ll leave a review when I do on that purchase one. To Test out how well both cameras preform on one app! I’m not sure how many can be link at once but I’m sure it’s multiples! Only thing I would say is a con is the sensitivity of alerts, but that’s just a problem I’ll have to figure out over time, or maybe set up the other one closer to where I would like it to trigger motion better. I wanted mine to trigger the traffic that passes by my little country rd I live on but I’ve not mastered how to get that to happen yet. You just have to play with the sensitivity to get it to your liking. If you are getting to many or not enough alerts to your liking the setting options are easy to find and set all that up. Costumer services is nice as well if you have a problem. They are very helpful if you run into a problem. I have no complaints. Theses things are everything I need in a security camera and more. I just love the simplicity of the whole deal.

A quality camera at a great price truly does the job.
I use these cameras all of the time. Great price, easy to install, and they are durable. They work all of the time and do not require a great deal of time to maintain. The quality of the picture is good and the zoom function always works well for me. So far which is years there is no downside to using these cameras.

Some quirks, but cost to feature ratio is good
I've been wanting some solar-powered wireless security cameras for awhile as the locations I wanted to monitor didn't have power outlets, and I didn't want to drill through the walls. I'd been looking at more expensive models before I happened across this one. It was half the price of the others I considered and at the time had a coupon for $10 off. Based on the mostly positive reviews I decided to take a chance. After receiving and testing it out, I bought a second a few days later. I've been using them both for around a couple weeks now. I'll lay out my review based on pros/cons: Pros: Feels sturdy and not cheap. Solar panel also feels good quality and seems sturdy. As it uses USB-C I'd like to have a couple more of them by themselves to take on trips for solar charging of other electronics. The cable is a good length, I'd say around 10 feet. The USB port is on the bottom of the camera and at first I thought the entire rubber weatherproofing flap/cover had to be open to use it which seemed like a design flaw as it also exposes the mSD slot and the power/reset buttons. But on closer look there's a small, separate cutout specifically for the USB plug that pops out and lets the rest of the flap stay closed. Solar charging works pretty well. The camera on the front of the house only gets direct sun in the afternoon and it remains at 100% charged despite only getting a few hours of direct sun a day. Unfortunately the one in the back is in a much more shaded area and gets very little direct sun and was varying between 50-80%. After a few days of less sun it's now even lower. I'm probably going to have to move the panel for that one. The options you choose in the settings will determine how quickly the battery is used. More on that below. Setup and connection is a snap. You register for a free account in the app (more on that below) and the process to add the device to the account is simple: You choose the WiFi network (2.4Ghz. only) and enter the password, then It displays a QR code that you point the camera to, and it connects and registers it. Doesn't seem to have issues with moderate range. My first one is on the front of the house and close to the wireless router, so I don't expect that one to have a connection issue. The other one was at first in my backyard and around 50 feet away, and the signal strength would bounce between 75%-100%. I moved it closer to get a better view of the area and it now varies between high 80s and 100%, like the front one. Three separate options for night operation. The built-in white LEDs can be set to come on with detected motion to provide color vision or can be set to come on and stay on with night. The other is straight night vision with the IR LEDs. Cloud-based storage is an option but not required. Can save locally to mSD. Cons: Image quality isn't the greatest. It may say HD but it's not. Don't expect to be able to identify people at long distances. More suited for smaller areas or for more enclosed areas. While the night vision works decently well, there's no option for the IR cut filter to stay enabled at night while viewing. Or in other words there's no option for it to remain "dark" at night when viewing the feed. The IR or white LEDs will automatically come on. Sometimes I'd like to view the area in the dark and see the surrounding light sources in color. Motion detection range is shorter than you'd think and feels like a straight beam pointed towards the middle of the screen. When the front camera was angled down a little more it wouldn't detect vehicles entering my driveway or people walking across the yard until they were at the base of my porch steps, despite the entire area being visible. Moving it up slightly improved the detection, but still keep this in mind. If you need the motion detection point the camera directly at the area. And the biggest con: The app, CloudPlus, does work and isn't too hard to use, but it has multiple quirks. First off for some reason it sends two notifications per event. One for the specific camera and then a generic "Tip: Motion detected" as well. You can go into the app's notification settings (on Android at least) and disable this. But since it'll be listed with the same name you'll have to test to see which one it is. Speaking of notifications, the biggest issue I have with the app is how they work with saved videos. Every time you have an event it leaves a notification in your history in the app. If you don't clear these what happens is every time you tap a new notification and then tap the play button for the latest video, it'll start playing the first one of that day instead (or the earliest one that's still marked as unread.) So you will have to manually clear these notifications from the app or else tapping straight to a recording won't work right. Camera information does not refresh unless you're actively connected and viewing it. What this means is despite being able to look at things like the battery charge and status for each camera separately from the main page of the app, that data is only as recent as the last connection. So for example if you checked the battery and it was at 80%, the settings will continue to say it's at 80% until you click and start streaming the feed again, which will refresh all the information. The app offers settings for AI detection to only alert on humans and not animals but it's not perfect. There's other options but they're a separate paid purchase in the app. Cloud saving has a free option with multiple limitations and a paid option with fewer limitations. I've not used any of these services so far, just the local mSD card. Other thoughts: The hardware itself seems to work fine. I've only had one issue that I assume was a glitch or a connection error and the streaming speed went down to almost nothing and I heard some weird feedback from the microphone. Rebooting the camera (doable from within the app) fixed this. Again this might've just been a connection issue and not the camera itself being faulty. The camera has a small blue LED to indicate its on, and this can be a good or bad thing. In dim light/the dark it provides warning that the camera is indeed watching and is a possible additional deterrent, but it blinks when you're actively viewing the camera, meaning it's possible someone would figure this out and know when someone's watching or not (it'll still be recording, of course.) You can turn this LED off under the camera's settings in the app. One of my cameras I want it obvious that it's there to act as an initial deterrent, but the second one is more stealthy, watching the side of the house and mounted on a tree, so I have that LED turned off to help keep it hidden. If you have vinyl siding, like me, and don't want to drill through it to mount these you can get flat "hooks" designed for this purpose. They let you mount things to them via screw and then they slide up into a gap and gently holds from the inside. The ones I use require two for the camera itself, and just one for the solar panel. They work great and won't damage your siding. Battery life is dependent on the options you chose. You can select 10, 20, or 30 second recording times when motion is detected and the app warns you that the longer ones use more power. Your usage of the white LEDs will also affect it. Obviously if you have them to to activate on motion or have them come on at dark and stay on throughout the night, that will also greatly impact the battery life. Constant activations will also have an impact as it flips the IR LEDs on when the PIR (passive IR) sensor detects movement, so if you put it on an area where constant activations are to be expected, expect that to have an affect, too. I can't say for sure but I'd also imagine using the AI detection option uses more as it has to do additional processing. For the price to performance ratio the hardware is a pretty good deal, though the app I'd rate at 3/5 currently. Also it really needs a dark option. If I have any additional thoughts or experience changes with the hardware or software as I use them I'll update my review.

Pretty good for a low cost camera
I am impressed I am with the IHOXTX Security Camera I got the Twin pack for about £80 and From the moment I set it up, it has exceeded all my expectations. The setup process was pretty easy and quick you open the app click ADD DEVICE and it runs you through the steps and in a few minutes it's up and running thanks to the clear and easy instructions provided. The image and video quality are pretty good you can switch from SD to HD and QHD and 4k depending on the model of the camera. I can easily identify people and objects, even in the dark the wide-angle lens ensures I can see a large area with a camera. The motion detection feature is pretty accurate. It sends me instant alerts on my phone whenever there is activity in the camera's field of view so I can see what is happening when you from home. The two-way audio communication is a fantastic feature. I can not only hear what's happening but also speak through the camera to communicate with visitors or even deter potential intruders or Jahovahs Witnesses just play some Cradle of Filth and watch them leg it you can use it to keep an eye on your package drop box. The camera is well made not too plasticy and has some weight but not too much. It can withstand various weather conditions its been pretty, which is essential for an outdoor security camera. The app is pretty good and provides good control over the camera. It's easy to navigate and customize settings according to my preference. So the IHOXTX Security Camera has proven to be a reliable, high-performance security solution. It has enhanced the safety of my home, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable and user-friendly security camera. Five stars

Amazing value for money!
I recently purchased this camera to cover the back garden area of my property. I wanted a good camera for a decent price. After much research, I opted for this one due to it's price, previous reviews and the fact that it was pretty much play-and-play. I'm really happy with the camera. The installation was easy and it just worked as soon as I set it up. The image quality is spot on (day and night) and there are some really useful features in the accompanying app. The solar panel that came with the camera has kept the battery topped up so far, so apart from the initial charge I did when I bought it, I haven't had to touch it since. I also like the fact that it has an SD card slot which means you're not forced to subscribe to a cloud service. Although, after owning it for less than a week and being so pleased with the results, I have now opted for the cloud service at £25 a year... Purely because of the extra content it allows. Overall, I'm really pleased with my purchase and I think you'd struggle to beat this on price and quality.

Taugt die was?
Eindeutig Ja!
