Fit and Forget
Firstly, I admit that I bought the wrong model. I intended to buy the dual-band ac model. Then the stock BT Home Hub 5 stopped going wrong and I though I had wasted my money. Finally the BTHub did another whoopsie and I changed them over. I should point out that I have done this sort of thing many times, but it still needed some hunting through the management web-pages. In the process, I was astonished at the wide range of features (non of which I actually need) and impressed by the networking flexibility (also, not really needed with my basic networking).I have had top notch performance and reliability for a week or so. I paid the significant premium over the domestic routers for just that reason. I needed to slot the router into an existing switched Ethernet network of around 15 devices and so I did not try the set-up wizards. This router may have too many options for a newbie to networking.

Replaced BT business router
Got this installed at work after the the BT Hub 6 kept crashing and restarting after 40+ bits of gear connected to it. This has been rock solid since installation and does the job beautifully.

The "go-to" router for IT Specialists, but don't expect easy set up for novices
As the title says... if you need a top end router for business, with VPN etc, then this is it! But if you have no idea what you are doing, this is not some plug in and play device. The set up is a nightmare for beginners. Avoid. If you know exactly what you are looking for, then you wouldnt be reading this review anyway, you'd just be buying it, as quite simply its the best spec router out there for the money and are pretty much timeless.

Unreliable
Whilst it was working it was fine. However, it became faulty after less than two years. As it was, of course, out of warranty, the seller didn't want to know.I have, over the last 30-odd years, been through countless far cheaper routers and none of them have ceased functioning - they have simply been replaced as new tech became available. I expected a router at this price and with the DrayTek name to last longer than 20 months; I had also hoped that the seller would be a little more forthcoming with support. Shame.

Works well
Easily connected into my BT Infinity. Has lots of options on it to make it secure, like blocking tracert.

You get what you pay for
I was advised to buy this router by my electronics adviser, previously had another router at a considerable cost which failed after 18th months use, this I was advised was "bullet proof". This is not a cheap product but don't be put off its purchase by the price I live in an area noted for broadband problems and this router copes with everything.
