Does this work with google home ? :)

Yes but limited features compared to alexa. It only allows me to boil it through home at the moment but can change settings woth alexa. You can still get the full function through the smarter app though.

Can you adjust the temperature on the kettle itself or do you have to always use the app?

You can't do anything on the kettle apart from turn it on or off. You can set the temperature via Alexa/Google Home if you want though.
