Planned on taking young children to see Wizard of Oz being performed on stage and ordered this book for them so they knew the story before watching it. Lovely pictures!

Very subdued colours
The picture on the front cover is brilliantly coloured. Inside the book, the artwork is subdued, drab, quite a bit less vibrant.For adaptations suitable for the age group, I much preferred the Toto retelling of the story.

great for Y1 topic
simple version of the book, great for my young readers. I teach year 1 and they loved it. Good value.

Silver shoes, lacks vibrant colour and charm
Silver shoes! And misses key details from the original story.I was disappointed but the 3yo didn’t seem to mind much.Pictures are colourless and lack charm , not like the front cover.Do Not buy if you are expecting a little accuracy.Other than that ok.
