Works great, and durable over time. Great value.
Easy installation and looks clean and modern. The robust knob control design ensures the wonโt break or bend, which happened to previous fan/light dimmer switches Iโve owned. Switches slide easily, and itโs less tedious to set the fan switch to the desired speed than others Iโve used.Dimming range of lights is fantastic.I have installed three of these switches this past year and have never noticed buzzing or humming sounds from the light dimmer switch when using dimmable LED bulbs, which is an issue I saw mentioned in other reviews, and have connected this switch to both new and old fan/lights.Overall, this fan/light dimmer switch is an excellent value.

It Works!
Reading reviews and comments from others was dizzying. So, I decided to order one to satisfy my stubborn head knowing I could always return it if it turned out not to my liking. Only 3 connections needed (hot/power, fan and light/load). Took me less than 3 minutes to install. I can now dim the lights and control the fan speed separately. This product is one of the very few that sliding up is to increase the fan speed and vice versa, while most in the market is the opposite (dumb, because sliding up = slowing down). I am not disputing all the negative reviews but I personally am happy with the product and I highly recommend it. I might change this review if there's a change in its performance or durability.

Nice with some caveats
PROS:-positive stops on the fan and light switches are really nice-built well and sturdyCONS:-it's BIG inside. I had to install a much larger box to wire it to make sure i had enough space inside the box according to code.-there's no brightness-adjust trimpot like i've got on other dimmer products, which means even the lowest setting on my can lights is pretty bright.

Poor quality
Quality is not good. When it worked, it worked as intended. Installed with a brand new hunter fan. I had no issues with flickering and fan speed control seemed about right. Then after 8 months, the dimmer side of the switch quit working. Pulled the switch, I have power to the switch but nothing leaving the load side for the light when the switch is on. 8 month failure on this switch is disappointing. Iโd look for something else.

Definitely perfect for my application
My house was custom-built for me 13 years ago. I finally decided to install a ceiling fan in a guest bedroom that is rather small. The home builder made a small error in that his electrician installed a 3-gang wall switch electrical junction box in this bedroom instead of a 2-gang box. One of the switches is the recessed ceiling lights, leaving the other two positions for the ceiling fan. Now everybody knows that ceiling fan switches are all combination switches whereby one switch has controls for both the light and the fan. This presents a cosmetic problem for the guest bedroom because had I used the combination wall switch, then the third position within the electrical box would either have to be a switch that does nothing, or a blank flat insert (I cannot explain that any better). Over these past 13 years, I just had two switches there that did nothing. But installing the ceiling fan would finally complete the room, so to solve the wall switch problem, I looked for a separate light dimmer switch and fan dimmer switch. I found these by TOPGREENER. I am uploading an identical review for the other switch. I am very happy with both products. Both were easy to install, work correctly, feel good to click through the various detents, and are visually appealing. Recommend !

Top form and function
I installed six of these switches in my home several months ago and have been very satisfied with their performance so far. Aesthetically, I like the fact that there are no exposed openings along the switch 'tracks', as is the case with pretty much every other design I've seen - this makes for a modern, sleek look to my eye. This design should also help keep the switches cleaner long term, as there are no crevasses for dirt to potentially enter. Functionally, these switches have been working out great and feel solidly constructed. I did need to make a warranty claim for one of them, but TopGreener support made it easy to secure a replacement. If I was to nit-pick about anything, it might be nice if the "fan" and "light" icons on the switch had some level of contrast with the surrounding switch (to make it easier to tell which switch is which) but that could arguably detract from the aesthetics...either way, its not much of an issue in practice. Definitely recommend!

Questionable
In spite of all the pretty pictures, this switch does not come with the decorative face plate. And it's hard to get the screws tight enough to retain the wires. We'll see how it holds up.
