Cannondale SI Urban Bicycle Front Headlight (Black)

I live in Philadelphia so my main concern is other people seeing me at night. This light works for that purpose. It is not a great light to use on a dark trail, as the handlebars point the light slightly upwards instead of down on the ground. I use the flashing mode and have not had to charge the light in months. I have had a couple of comments from other bike enthusiasts because its a great idea and you can never forget your bike light!

I was super excited to purchase this product and thought it was very cool. Received it, installed it, looked great! Then went out for a night ride.. Disaster! The light is aimed up to the heavens and offers no help lighting straight ahead or the road itself. Worse then that - from a riding position the lights are visible with nothing blocking your eyes and the 5 LED's are so BRIGHT that they are annoying in general and will blind you if you look down at the road in front of you. Super disappointed. As awesome as it looks and as great of an idea it was.. they are a complete riding hazard. Disappointed I will be returning this product. Next time they need to consider function over fashion.
