This Little Steamer Packs a Punch
I was visiting my daughter, and she had the Rowenta PurePop Handheld Steamer in her guest room. My suit jacket and slacks looked like they had been wadded up and left under a car seat after my flight, so I gave this thing a shotâand it worked like a charm. The steamer heats up in about 15 seconds, which is honestly faster than I can find an ironing board. Itâs compact and super lightweight (about 1.5 lbs), which makes it easy to handle and perfect for travel. The 2.3 oz water tank doesnât sound like much, but it was enough to knock the wrinkles out of a full outfit. For longer sessions, youâll want to keep a refill handy. At 1150 watts, itâs surprisingly powerful for its size. It doesnât replace a full-size iron for those sharp, pressed lines, but for quick touch-ups and travel use, itâs hard to beat. What I Like:â Fast heat-up time (15 seconds means no waiting around)â Super portable and great for travelâ Took deep suitcase wrinkles out of my suit with no problemâ Stylish design with a comfortable gripâ Works on most fabrics without issueWhat Could Be Better:â A small water tank means frequent refills for more than 1â2 garments (not a deal killer)â Youâll still want an iron if you need crisp creasesâ A bit big for travelFinal Thoughts:I was impressed enough after one use to buy one for myself. Itâs now my go-to teamer, and letâs face it, a lifesaver when you need to look presentable quickly.âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ 5 out of 5 starsCompact, fast, and effective. Perfect for travel and quick wrinkle fixes.

Quickly Heats up, does a nice job of steaming out wrinkles, Wish it was smaller
The Rowenta steamer heats up impressively fastâready to go in under 20 secondsâand does a solid job of releasing wrinkles from garments. With a full water tank, it produces enough steam to handle both the front and back of a heavily wrinkled dress shirt. If you're quick, you can even get through a shirt and a pair of trousers before needing a refill. While the unit is a bit large for travel (I wish it were more compact to fit better in my suitcase), its size contributes to a well-balanced, comfortable grip during use. I picked it up on sale, which made it an above-average value for the price.Bottom line: It works well, gets the job done quickly, and wonât break the bank.

Great design and good sturdy construction
The Rowenta Clothes Steamer is a standout product, combining an eye-catching design with reliable performance. If youâre looking for a stylish yet functional steamer, this one delivers. Its vintage retro aesthetic, complete with a bright pop of orange, makes it a visually appealing applianceâsomething you donât mind having on display. But beyond its looks, it offers dependable results for those who need a quick refresh on their clothes. The most striking aspect of the Rowenta steamer is its retro design. The vibrant orange color paired with vintage styling makes it look far more unique than most steamers on the market. In terms of build quality, the materials used are sturdy and durable, so the steamer feels robust in your hands. Itâs clearly built to last and doesnât feel flimsy, which is an important factor for long-term use. When it comes to performance, the Rowenta steamer does a great job for its intended purposeâlight steaming and quick wrinkle removal. Itâs perfect for freshening up your clothes in the morning or before heading out. However, itâs important to note that it doesnât completely substitute a traditional iron. For heavier fabrics or more stubborn wrinkles, an iron will still be necessary. That said, the Rowenta excels at keeping garments looking neat and crisp for everyday wear, and it heats up quickly, so youâre not waiting long to get started. The water tank on the Rowenta steamer is compact, which is expected for a portable appliance. However, it lasts longer than you might think for its size. You can steam multiple pieces of clothing without needing to refill it constantly, making it more convenient than anticipated. The user manual does recommend emptying the water tank after each use and before storage to prevent any issues, though I personally didnât experience any leakage problems. In terms of portability, the Rowenta steamer is an excellent travel companion, especially if you frequently need to freshen up clothes on the go. While itâs not the most compact travel steamer out there, it strikes a good balance between portability and performance. It might feel a bit large if youâre packing light, but itâs still far more convenient than bringing a full-sized iron. For business trips, vacations, or any occasion where you need a quick garment refresh, this steamer is ideal. The Rowenta Clothes Steamer offers a blend of vintage charm and modern functionality. Itâs perfect for light steaming and keeping your clothes wrinkle-free on the go. While it wonât replace a regular iron for heavier tasks, its durability, ease of use, and stylish design make it a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a portable and reliable solution.Pros:⢠Stylish retro design with a bright orange color⢠Sturdy and durable materials for long-term use⢠Great for quick steaming and light wrinkle removal⢠Compact water tank lasts longer than expected⢠Excellent for travel, despite being slightly larger than ultra-compact steamers⢠No issues with leakage if used as instructedCons:⢠Slightly bulky for a travel steamer⢠Does not fully replace a traditional iron for heavier fabrics or deep wrinkles⢠Water tank needs to be emptied after use per instructions

Packs a Powerful PunchâŚ
In an attempt to minimize using an iron and board, we purchased a few various garment steamers a couple of years ago and this was one of them. To our utter surprise we didnât think thisâll be the one we ended up using the most and here we are still breaking it out. Itâs such an awesome product that weâve just reordered a second one for our travels. Itâs super lightweight and despite having a smaller tank than the others, the steamer packed a powerful punch. One could possibly steam about 1-3 garments before refilling the tank. In addition, it did not require some time to heat up - it went straight to work. Not to mention, the price point was fair. All in all, canât seem to find any fault with it. Highly recommended!

Great easy to use tool DURABLE
I liked that it worked fast and good and comfortable for the hands. For garments especially collar shirts and those work clothes that get ruined by a real iron. This is excellent for travel. Didnât leak. Value for money is excellent. Only one thing to note: using it on 12 real velvet curtain panels (commercial size for tall ceiling) in one day, and accidentally leaving it plugged in for two days strait will melt the cloth barrier it couldnât handle it. Also I dropped it from a tall ladder and pieces came apart and I put it back together it still worked. So after every beating I gave it, the tool proved worth the money each time. (Give it breaks between every 6 commercial size curtain panels and it will go on for years).
