A gluten-free corn-free source of a probiotic researched for effectiveness for IBS
I was very happy to find this source of bacillus coagulans that had no unnecessary additives, since I cannot have gluten or corn products (which includes corn maltodextrin). I was additionally pleased that these were tablets rather than capsules, which allowed me to chew each day's dose, since I read some research in the Journal of Functional Foods of Jan 2020 vol 64 which I interpreted as indicating that the digestive enzymes of saliva and the stomach may have some importance in making the most of b.coagulans probiotic activity.
