Heartless (Chestnut Springs, 2) [Silver, Elsie] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Heartless (Chestnut Springs, 2) Review: Love everything about Cade and Willa! - Everything about this story was perfect, no notes. I am a sucker for an age gap romance and grumpy/sunshine, but this was my first time reading a single dad trope and Elsie does it justice. The amount of love and selflessness Cade Eaton has (while still being so grumpy) is just addictive to read about. He is a caretaker through and through and would do anything for his family. The way Willa Grant meets Cade for the first time was such a cute intro to her personality (aside from what we saw in Reckless) and made me so excited to have an entire book about her. She is so care free, fun loving, and no nonsense, even though she does have some self doubt she hides away. She is fiercely protective over the people she loves, and thatโs something her and Cade can agree on. I love when she stood up to Cade on night one of her job and set the tone for how he was going to treat her for the summer. We get some glimpses of Cade slowly falling for Willa even though heโs trying to not let himself go there for various reasons. But the build up and the tension was insanely perfect! The late night front porch scene has been on replay in my head since I read it for the first time. So 5/5 stars for everything about Cade and Willaโs relationship. The biggest star of the show was how Willa loves Luke like he needs. Giving him attention and affection and so much love that every child needs and deserves. They pulled at my heartstrings in almost every interaction. The pool scene was the moment I think we all fell in love with Willa! Overall, this story was one of my favorites for this year so far. Review: You will fall in love with Cade and his Willa - Grumpy/sunshine, single dad, nanny, age gap, older man/younger woman. This is a series and can be read as a standalone. Cadeโs sister in law and dad are helping him to find a nanny. Only problem is they seem more interested in Cade and not his son. Enter Willa. Unfortunately Willa and Cade have already met, in an embarrassing incident involving her black silky panties which funnily she leaves with him. Cades not keen on hiring Willa as he does not know her, but one afternoon with his son Luke and she has won him over. The most important detail regarding the nanny is, if the child approves and Luke is totally smitten. Luke is a miniature Cade. Adorable, 5 year old and thinks the world of his dad. Cadeโs a good man, brother, son and father. His son Luke is his world. At his core, Cade is a caretaker, selfless with a big heart. He also has a wonderful relationship with his family. Thereโs nothing to dislike about Cade. Willaโs a good person also, loyal and has a big heart. They have great banters together. She keeps him on his toes. This has so many things that I like in a story. Wonderful characters, kindness, loyalty, humour, witty banter, chemistry and spice.

Small Town, Spicy Single Dad/Nanny Romance Perfection
โI know in my bones that I wonโt want to let you go at the end of the summer, but Iโll take what I can get. Because youโre too ___ special to pass up.โ Whew! Elsie Silver can write a book with all the things! This single dad/nanny, grumpy x sunshine story was PERFECTION! It was HOT, steamy, humorous, and heart-felt! It was a small town romance & then some! Itโs worth a million โญ๏ธs! Cade Eaton is a grumpy, over-protective dad looking for someone to care for his son, Luke, over the summer so he can care for his family ranch. He is picky and needs a nanny that will focus on Luke and isnโt trying to apply for the job of his wife. Enter Willa. The much younger Willa was personally vetted by Summer, Cadeโs soon to be sister-in-law. She is certain Willa and Cade will hate each other enough to avoid complications. Willa is a fiery, ball-busting, mouthy red head and Cade has quite the mouth himself ๐ฅต๐โฆ which is how these two eventually combust into a spicy, romantic mess of feelings and more! I loved everything about Cade and Willaโs relationship! Their banter was second to none with Willa goading Cade is so many ways! Watching the โalways in controlโ cowboy lose it had me laughing and smiling from start to finish! Her ability to bring out the fun and fire in him was heartwarming & the way he cared for her had me melting all over the page! But, my favorite thing about Elsieโs books is the way she makes it a robust, well rounded love story! Willaโs care and love for Luke grows exponentially and their relationship is so very special. Her ferocity to protect him and show him he can depend on her becomes unbreakable, making Cade fall more deeply in loveโฆrealizing he may not be heartless after all. Heartless is a HOT, heart-felt, small-town, grumpy x sunshine, nanny/single dad, age gap romance and SO MUCH MORE! The Eaton boys are absolutely some of my favorites to watch fall in love and Elsie writes their women with such perfection! The family dynamic of the Eaton boys (and Jasper) is something I look forward to reading with much anticipation! Canโt wait to see how the next story plays out!

Cade really broke my heart with his insecurities I kept telling him through the book you did good you deserve better ๐ฅน till the ends he still doubting if he deserve to be happy ; I wanted to hug him so bad. His dirty talk wasn't expected to be honest ๐คฃ he's hot and irresistible, every time he says "woman" it does something weird to me๐คฐ. Willa was relatable af with her insecurities and unplanned future, she's funny and steaming hot. Every time Cade push her away I felt heartache for her. Rhett was fun I might read his book but I don't think I enjoyed the other characters peeking that much like how much they talk about Jasper every time he's around. Luke is so adorable I loved him too he broke my heart when he asked about what his baby sister will call Willa ! ๐ญ

The best characters, the best chemistry, the best banter, the best setting. Literally the best romance book ever. I cannot get enough of this book.

Cade and Willaโs story is so heartwarming. There is a long and steady build up to their sexual relationship, even though they are physically attracted to each other from their first meeting and there is steamy tension between them from the beginning. The delay in gratifying their attraction allows time for them to get to know and appreciate the positives about each other and allows the heat to build. Willa is an intelligent, confident, caring, free-spirit, and so funny - I would love her as a friend. There are so many adjectives in the book describing Cade. Although he is surly and grim faced he is very appealing - most of the unattached female residents in Chestnut Springs are attracted to him because he is also capable, selfless, strong, stoic, honest and hardworking. Luke is absolutely adorable, he is full of fun and such a lovable and loving little guy. The book is very well written and all the characters are well rounded. Each member of Cadeโs family has their own distinct personality - all different but with an endearing and enduring love for each other. The two Elsie Silver books Iโve read have been extremely enjoyable, I like the sensuality and the passion but Iโm not too keen on the sex talk and steamy descriptions so I fast track through those sections and concentrate more on the story, the humour and the characters. I now look forward to reading the next book in the series.
