360 Flexo Single Ear Earpiece (3.5mm Connector, 22")

I've had about five of the acoustic tube ear pieces and they never lasted long, whether buying cheap or quality. Two colleagues finally told me about N-Ear's ear pieces. The price was slightly more than the acoustic alternatives, but I took a chance. I do not regret buying this one. It can be truly loud, but has safety features to limit just how loud. The ear piece does not fully occlude the ear canal, allowing some surrounding noise through on the side of the ear piece. The design does require occasional cleaning, but this includes tools for cleaning as well as spare cushions. The cushions have a design that allows some flexibility in how they fit, making them suitable for all but unusually large ear canals. The cord has a coil in it that allows for better adjustment The cord includes a plastic clip to position it better on one's clothing. It mostly works well, however, the smaller bracket to hold the cord in place broke easily; I simply use the clip to hold everything where it belongs and it works almost as well. Also, the device can go to either ear, but it will gradually conform to that side and be poorly reversible later. Overall, I finally have an ear piece I really like! I should have bought the remote microphone/PTT button combination, but I decided back when my company had plenty of remote microphones.

I needed something that was a little less obvious than the acoustic tube designs. This is working great. Its a little pricey in my opinion but is a nice set up. Tickled my inner ear at first and needed to get used to it being in there, as they go into your ear canal. Sound is better than acoustic tubes. Hides easier than them as well. Its also nice being able to just pull mine off and plug them into another radio set I have via an adapter that was $20. Instead of moving your adapter around, I would recommend just getting more adapters as needed so you don't wear them out. If you didn't know the speaker is in the earpiece itself that enters the ear not on the other end like the acoustic tubes. Might be why they sound better. Cleaning kit included to swap out your filters. Same design as those on hearing aids. I only know that because my son has hearing aids. I like this better than the acoustic ones as it doesn't stop me from hearing what's around me and after using different tips on the acoustic tubes to get the same results, the sound isn't as clear on those. This one works a lot better. N-ear from what I was reading on their site has different versions based on how rough you may be with yours. I'm starting to think I should have gotten the dual ear version as well. Don't want to spend that money again, unless something happens to this one.

I bought this earpiece because it advertises how durable and lightweight it is. It is lightweight and comfortable. My first one of these lasted me about 5 days of use at work as a policeman and then it went out and all I could hear was static. I returned it and got another one a few days later. That one didn’t even last me 4 days. Do not buy this. It can get you killed or worse someone else can get killed because you can’t reliably hear dispatch or your fellow officers. Spend your money on something else.

I've used the N-ear earpiece for about 5 years while I was on patrol. Just bought my second one (22") after my original one called it quits. However, I realized the 22" earpiece was too short when running it through my vest. N-ear would not respond to my return request, and I was unable to file a claim on Amazon.com. So, for $6, I purchased a 3.5mm male to female extension which fixed the issue. Overall, the product is good and I've had good luck with them lasting years. But disappointed with the customer service.

Worth the extra money. I have been using earpieces for the better part of 40 years. By for the best I have ever used. Thanks guys for a great product.

Great product, works as described, but disappointed how it was shipped. It arrived in a clear plastic bag instead of the black protective / storage case it comes in if you order from N-ear direct.

Comfy, yes. Stays in my ear all day? Yes. Easy to hear the world around me, other than dispatch? Yes Easy to hear dispatch? Nope. Small tinny sound. Works well enough typing at my desk, but as soon as I'm in a louder spot- can't hear much. So I turn it up, and then it's too loud. Uhhg... Another tactical but not so practical non-solution.
