Love the double sided
These panels will be more efficient. Connected them with hinges on one side and a handle on the other, added a prop so I could stand them up on one side, they work great.

Solar panel
Renigy stuff is pretty good, I have 3 of these on my camper

Great panel
Renogy always makes quality equipment. Not sure they are worth the extra cost but only time will tell. I do have a couple of bargain panels that put out the same power side by side. I just needed one more to boost my string voltage.

Renogy 220 BiFacial Panel MC4 male connector issues
The Renogy 220 watt panel production is fine. I could not get the male panel mc4 connector to snap into my Windy Nation Extension cables. The panels mc4 connectors snap into panel to panel just fine. The mc4 connectors snap into Renogy extension cables just fine but I could not get them to snap into other brand mc4 extension cables. Using other brand extensions they would pull apart. Be sure and buy Renogy extension cables if needed as not to have mc4?connection issues. In my opinion mc4 connectors should be standard mc4. Connecting the panels end to end long wise the cables were just a few inches short and I had to use a short extension mc4 cable between them.

Decent Panel
Decent panel, but don't expect any miracles with the performance. I bought 2 of these and run them in series to charge an EcoFlow Delta 2. The max performance on a clear Colorado winter day was 190w per panel... So 86% of the rated amount. Really not bad at all, but in similar conditions I have seen the EcoFlow 220w bifacial panels make more than their rated amount. Certainly not a scientific comparison...just noticed better output from the EcoFlow. I like these Renogy panels better than the folding EcoFlow version because I want something I can leave outside without worrying about the high altitude UV destroying them. The biggest issue is the connection cables. The other reviewer that said the MC4 connector has a problem is right. The connector is built for a permanent install and you can't get to the little retaining clips to release them unless you use 2 small screwdrivers. You could cut the extra plastic "bridge" piece out so it will function like a normal MC4 or even crimp on a regular MC4 if you will be connecting and disconnecting them regularly. I don't know why they would do that. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.Also with the cables in the middle of the panel they did not make the cables long enough to connect in in series when mounted in landscape orientation so if you plan on doing that you will need an extension. If they would have just made them 6" longer it would work with a bit of wiggle room. They work great if you are mounting them in portrait orientation.I will likely buy 2 more of these to complete my system despite the issues I mentioned here if they go on sale again.I will update the review once I can do more performance testing. Seems good enough for now.

Defective products- incompetent support
This panel failed after 2 months, it outputs 10% of rated power in full-sun. From my prior experience with support, all they do is apologize and ignore the issue for days

I love it..!
My local RV repair owner advised me to step-up the size of my solar panel used to keep a charge on my motorhome’s 4 12v parallel wired house batteries. After removing the much smaller and much lower output solar panelI originally installed on the lid of one of the AC units, I installed the 100 watt Renogy panel you see in the photos. The panel did not come with mounting brackets (probably my error in ordering) so I purchased them separately through Amazon. I will not drill a hole in any roof, so utilizing the 3 existing mounting points that hold the AC cover on the coach’s roof, I used tubular aluminum bar material readily available at the big box stores, a single exterior L bracket and stainless steel socket head cap screws with stainless washers and locknuts to mount the panel to the aluminum bars. Although it hovers over half of the AC exhaust fan, as you can tell by the last photo there is approximately 3” air gap between the top of the fan housing and the bottom of the solar panel. This will allow the full exit of the fan driven warm air. I couldn’t be happier with the esthetics of how it turned out and I’ll be monitoring the performance of the solar panel in the weeks ahead.
