I bought these stoppers to replace my broken and totally faded chrome from my original Moen bathroom sink stoppers that were 17 years old. They seem to be the exact same fit and quality as the original stoppers. It was a great deal to get the pack of six since I actually have five of these sinks in need of replacing. Don’t worry because it is an easy replacement. Just takes a couple of minutes and you’re done. As a side note: the reason for my 5 star review is because they are the same quality as the original, however the original is made of cheap plastic and fake chrome which probably won’t hold up to chemicals like drain cleaners and keep their appearance. With that being said, I definitely recommend these to get your sink back to looking good and working properly.

I have no idea why our local hardware stores (Menards, Home Depot) do not carry this length of drain stopper anymore, but these are just what I needed!

… these absolutely DO NOT fit a standard Moen bathroom drain. Their diameter is smaller then the drain opening. Zoom in on the drain. The only reason it hasn't fallen all the way in is because the lift rod is in place.

I like this version of a stopper for its ease of placement and sturdiness, at least so far. It's somewhat better than a previous stopper replacement I bought in that the gray plastic seems to show buildup of grease and grime much less than a white stopper. To be clear, this stopper is able to either rest on the protruding riser piece down in the drain without attaching to that, or can be attached, I think. I like to be able to simply pull the stopper out for cleaning without having to detach it from the riser in the drain.

Just like every other industry, companies that make bathroom sink fixtures have taken it upon themselves to make items differently than their peers. I have Moen fixtures in my house, and their sink stopper is hard to find. The only place where I found a generic stopper was at Ace Harware. I purchased a few, but their useful life is over, so I needed more.I recently returned to Ace, but each stopper was ~$7-8, so I looked elsewhere. These seem to be the exact same thing in color, shape, size and appearance. Even the small cutout was evident on both, so I went with the more economical option. I compared them at home after receiving them, and they were exact. That said, they work as intended and I recommend.
