Hudson Reed XTY006 Universal Access Concealed Cistern - Black

Arrived a day after ordering, and at a very resonable price of £25. Took 10 minutes to remove the (almost identical) old cistern which had developed a leak, and once I'd cut the downpipe to right length it took about 10 minutes to fit the new cistern in.Came in a box with all the required internal mechanisms, hanging bracket, dual flush valve (adjustable for saving water), chrome button, downpipe and all the washers etc.Very pleased with end result and won plenty of brownie points with the Mrs too :)Thanks

Very easy to install. Easy to follow instructions. Options to put the flush button where you want, on either side, above, etc. Option to put the water in from either side also. Lots of extra length on the toilet pipe which is handy when boxing it in.Very compact and at only £20, incredibly good value.My only criticism would be that the button feels a bit cheap and nasty. Also, I the depth of the tiled wooden wall I had constructed was around 35mm and the thread on the back of the button wasn't long enough to screw on the plastic nut in the orientation suggested. So I had to cut off some tabs to make it fit. Worked fine and quick to fix, although something to think about of the wall you are putting it behind is thick.

I bought this for our bathroom refurb and it has been in place for about 3 months now.It arrived quickly and contained everything our plumber needed to fit it, and as far as I could tell it was installed quickly and easily.Now that it's installed, the flush button is of a good quality and feels reasonably sturdy and solid, and looks as good as a cistern button can!Overall it offers great value for money, as it's a good price and reasonable quality, but how long it actually lasts only time will tell but so far so good.

Seemed at least as study as the original - water entry either side, some minor assembly but works very well and much quieter than previous. Water entry plastic so used flexible tap connector which seemed to work.

This is a neat little cistern.It fitted inside a Howdens toilet unit with plenty of space to spare.It works perfectly well, and is supplied with all the parts you need.One star off because the lid doesn’t fit. In fact the lid drops down into the cistern and stops the cut of valve from working, meaning the water flows constantly.I chucked the lid away and it works perfectly now.Good price too.

I needed some replacement parts for my "Victorian Plumbing" built in Cistern unit. However they wanted nearly £50 for their replacment. I found this at half the price it is the "exact" same unit. Once arrived not only was it exact same design it was even maunfactured by the same company. I was able to remove all the parts i needed and fitted to old system without needing to replace the whole cistern.

Unfassbar schlechte Verarbeitung. Undicht an allen Ecken und Enden , trotz hanfband. Nicht zu empfelen!! Nur was für Bastler und Menschen mit wenig Geld
