Little Einsteins - Race For Space
My 2 -year old and 7-year old children absolutely loved this. There is a mystery and an exciting race. The Little Einstein characters are linked to the rhyme of the 3 Little Pigs. The Little Pigs get into big trouble in their aeroplanes but are saved by the Little Einsteins. The journey takes them to space, China, Hawaii and Machu Picchu in Peru. The music includes Rossini's William Tell overture.

My grandson loves Einsteins and this was no let down.
The Einsteins formula works again in this scenario, especially rocket. It is the same high standard you come to expect of this genre.

Great
One of the DVDs that's dubbed into English (the original series is in American English).

He loves it!
We bought this for our three year old Godson's birthday. He loves the Little Einsteins DVDs so this was very well received.

Disappointing
Entitled 'Race For Space' we expected this disc to include the 'space' episodes (there was no synopsis at the time we ordered it) - Ring Around the Planet, Galatic Goodnight and maybe Rocket Soup..... So when this arrived with 3 completely random episodes (I have no idea why you would group these 3 together) we were a bit disappointed. Of course my 2 year old immediately saw the disk and wanted to watch the 'planet one' and wondered why Mummy was showing him the wrong one.If you are just after 3 more episodes from the some-what inferior second series of Little Einsteins, this disc is for you. If however you want some from the 1st series I suggest you write to or email Disney (as I intend to) and ask them what they are playing at.In case you wondered, the episodes included are - The Treasure Behind The Red Door (a new one), Super Fast and The Great Sky Race Rematch.

repetitive
The boys enjoyed this but I was disappointed that two out of the three episodes featured the same music (William Tell Overture) and the space episode only had a very very brief (less than 3 minutes) trip into space (no planets or stars included). From an educational standpoint, not very interesting compared to some of their other episodes.

GREAT DVD!!!
We've liked this series for a long time in our house. The music is great and the "art of the day" and various geographic reference keep things interesting Mummy as well (and we know how important that can be!). I was a little surprised not see more space episodes on here, but my two year old LOVES these three and the bonus Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode, too. The reason for not giving 5 stars is simply because there are two episodes with the same music (William Tell Overture), but as he doesn't watch all three in one go, I don't find it too offensive. Hurrah for Little Einsteins!
