Great for camping. Must have for emergency preparedness.
I purchase this water filtration system to be used during an emergency. It is simple to use and would be used for family/community. The system is a couple of bucket's with a long lasting filter. The filter is advertised to last as long as 10 years and protects against 99.999% of bacteria and protozoa. Depending on the water, if the water is drawn from murky/dark areas, perhaps change the filter 5 years or less. If the water is clear/close to clean then 10 years may work. Maintaining is easy, just back flush the system with clean water. I believe this system is functional, saves space, and has a nice capacity to filter and hold water. An important feature is the system uses gravity and not electricity. If there is a power outage, water can be filtered.

Easy Assembly!
We camp a lot. And in case there is an emergency! Haven't had an occasion to use, but looks very simple if we have to!

Off grid water
I live in a cabin and I have to filter rain + snow for some household use and I use these. The water comes out super clean, I use it for dishes and showering after a second filter. I don't drink it because I can always bring in water on my back and I'd just rather do that, but if it was an emergency I don't think I'd mind. I wanted a faster one so I bought one and put 4 more filters in it. Filters very fast.

Great
We have to haul in drinking water where I live and sometimes the storage containers get a bit yucky. This has helped when that gets to be a problem. Also, it gets the chlorine taste out of the city water. Back flushing the filter is super easy and that will work for years to come! I did put a stainless steel spigot on it instead of the plastic one it comes with. The plastic seems kind of flimsy and I didn't want to see if it would break soon so I just replaced it right away. All in all, I think it's a great system and for the price it is well worth it! Not as "pretty" as the real pricey filter systems but no replacing filters etc as you go. Highly recommend.

Horrible instructions lol...
To make it easy to put together, just unscrew the black threaded piece to insert the filter into the bucket. Instructions were awful lol... product is decent. I might replace the plastic spout for a more sturdy one, but this is worth the money

For emergency use as well as camping.
Got this for part of our emergency kit. The water quality is good. The filter does exactly what the manufacturer claims. The functionality couldn't be better. Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store. I'm getting a few more for my FL family to keep in their hurricane kits. Getting fresh water is the highest priority when dealing with storms aftermath and this will really help. Specially in places where you can collect rain water.

Necessary!
The product is fine, the tap could definitely be stronger as I'm replacing it ,a previous review braced me for that thanks. I will once again and always shame others for the over pricing of anything related to a humans health and protection .take care folks be safe and enjoy.
