Surprisingly durable, roomy, and lightweight
I just returned from a two-week backpacking trip overseas. While I checked my 30L backpack, I needed a carryon bag that I could also cram into my backpack for the hiking portion. I also used this pack to carry essentials for a night on the town, while leaving my larger pack in the hostel/albergue. This Osprey pack was exactly what I needed.Packability: I didn't even bother folding this bag up; I just crammed it into the bottom of my pack, and it flattened down to nothing. I didn't even notice it was there--It took up next to no room, and it weights next to nothing.Durability: this pack is very tough for having such thin, lightweight material. It holds up to abrasion and dirt, and it is even somewhat water resistant. This is not a pack that you can rip on a tree branch, or poke a pen through if you have one in your pack.Comfort: The chest strap (which also has a built-in whistle) and the shoulder straps distribute the weight evenly. Since this is a packable pack, there is no cushioning. So if you were to fill this backpack with sharp rocks, you will feel every one of them. I did wear this pack around a lot, and it was very comfortable to do so for several hours at a time.Capacity: I did worry that the airline would lose my checked hiking pack with all of my gear, so I filled this pack with a lot of stuff for the airplane, just in case. It fit a full change of clothes, a raincoat, microfiber towel, all my toiletries, an international AC adapter, two external batteries, cords, an iPhone and iPad mini, and half a dozen charging cords. Not to mention some snacks. And there is a water bottle holder on each side of the pack. I was able to fit a 1-liter Nalgene bottle in each of these. This is going to be my go-to backpack for this kind of travel for a long time.

Thin fabric but I’m hopeful!
I really like the size of this backpack and the convenience of having two side pockets for keys and a water bottle. I am 5’7 and this backpack sits on my shoulders and back without problems. The material of the backpack appears to be waterproof, although the zippers and the mesh lining for the side pockets are not. My only concern is that the material is very thin - I don’t plan to carry anything heavy in it, as this is a backpack I’m using as a second option to hold souvenirs while backpacking Europe. Fingers crossed!(FYI, as a test, I used this backpack in Los Angeles for a week and it stood up to the test! No tears or holes - and I had a pen and my keys inside the backpack. Therefore, I’m changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars!)

Very versatile and stretches to allow you to fill it up!
I bought this for our upcoming Disney trip and it worked amazing! It came in a very small package and unrolled into a full backpack. I was able to fit a large amount of stuff (sandals, a charger, ponchos, glasses case, extra shirts, etc.) I also bough carabiners and hooked up shoes to the outside. The outside side pockets allowed me to put in a water bottle and a cooling towel. It is waterproof and kept everything dry. It was very versatile for running around in the Disney Bubble. It was a little difficult to zipper up when full, but the zippers held up. The material is stretchy, so I overloaded this bag and it still held up!

Compare and light weight
Really compact and light yet expands to a decent size. Used this for travel and it was a nice daypack I opened when I needed it. I’ve only had it a short time, so I can’t tell you how well it will last, but I like it so far. Bottle holders on side are nice and there a small safe pocket on the top that is close to your back for safety where you can put a wallet, etc.

Nice no frills lightweight/could use some tweaks/is not very water repellant/45 is kinda high
This backpack is wonderfully light and durable. I love the top pocket for stashing items you want to get to quickly. I have taken it hiking and also used it as a personal item carryon. It holds a lot! It's very packable. Zippers seem sturdy. Straps are adequately padded for day hiking. I would give it 5 stars but for a few drawbacks. The features and specs say the item is water repellant. It started raining while I was hiking and everything in my bag got drenched. Not sure how it would hold up in light rain, but in a downpour, it did nothing to keep my items dry. The bag features a sternum strap. Would love for them to add a hip strap! I feel like $45 is a bit high for this bag, but would be well worth it if the bag were waterproof and had a hip strap.

Great little bag. A lot like a Tardis (small on the outside, big on the inside)
This went beyond expectations. I purchased this to take on a 2.5 week European trip. It was going to be for 'trip emergency' use (unexpected hikes or other needs). When we finally pulled it out to use it, we were absolutely amazed at how much it would hold. It is so light, but we could stuff almost half of our rollerbag's contents into it without fearing it would bust open. We ended up using it for all the water bottles we ended up taking everywhere and it was perfect.

Perfect bag for walking about while traveling in a city.
Bought this to Pack for a trip to Italy to use as a day pack when necessary. I feared it would be uncomfortable, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is easily the best small bag. I’ve purchased in a long long time. Packs up to nearly nothing and fits in my wife’s purse. Then when we bought things, I was able to quickly open it up and fill it.I will keep this in my truck to use anytime the need pops up for a bag. Highly recommended. And at the price, it’s an amazing value.

Great Bag
Perfect for travel. Wanted to only have a carry on for our trip but wanted a back pack for some hikes and walks around. This was perfect for that. Comfortable for what it is, don’t expect luxury from a collapsible backpack.
