I have a 6-year-old Sony Bravia XBR-49X800G . It would not turn on last week. Directions show the TV on switch was on the back on the left side, instead of the right. Had to contact Sony support to find the real location. Pushed the on button on the TV and it came on. Thus, must be the remote. Got this one as a replacement. It looks exactly like the Sony one. The first time I tried it, it would not turn on the TV, and I had to push the TV on button, but it has done so every other time. All buttons, except the mic work, although sometimes I have to push a button, such as the apps one, more than once. No big deal to me. There are also included directions on how to get the mic to work by unpairing the remote and pairing it back up. I haven't done that since I rarely ever used the mic button anyway. Hence, happy so far with this inexpensive replacement, but will update review if the remote lasts for a shorter time than expected.

Remote immediately controlled basic tv functions. I went in to TV menu to pair remote for voice button. It paired without issue and is worth the money. It feels like the original remote but I will say that sliding back cover off to install batteries was not as easy as original. Overall great purchase though

Remote is horrible. The built quality of this unit feels very flimsy and cheap. The buttons are not of good quality and although it works with my Sony TV... it lags a lot in functionality. When I press a function, it needs to think for a bit in order to register with the TV. NOT GOOD at all

Original remote had been dropped once too many times and some of the buttons just wouldn't work any more. This remote looks exactly like the original and works well........except the centre + button does need a bit of coaxing to get it to be recognised by the telly, otherwise it works very well.

Worked perfectly! Very easy to set up.

Put in batteries turned on, and bingo my Sony tv is set up!

It’s great for changing the channel and volume but if you try to use it for the voice assist it does not work I’ve tried to connect it and watched several videos but it does not work also some of the buttons take a few times to work.
