Let me say, I love this ice machine and the small ice is delightful as I wanted a machine that made sonic ice. I was so pleased with it. It wasn’t loud and I always had ice to chew on. That being said, I purchased mine in June 3025 and now here in January, it no longer makes ice. I have cleaned as it said and thought it would last at least a year. It made an extremely loud noise so we turned it off and it hasn’t made ice since. Very disappointed as I was really enjoying it. I definitely do not think it is a good value for your money, when you pay $170 for it and doesn’t even last a year. Update**** Since leaving my first review, EUHOMY has sent me a new ice maker that is now working wonderfully again. It really means a lot that they would do this and stand behind their product. Lucy from their customer service department was excellent, kind, and a blessing to deal with. It was a no hassle and now I have that wonderful ice again. Like I stated in my first review, I love this ice maker as it makes the best ice, easy to keep clean and just all around a wonderful thing to have. Out of the three ice makers I have had, this is my favorite. Not sure what happened with the first one but hopefully the replacement will continue to work properly as it is now! This thing is awesome. I've had mine for over a year and I know that because I hadn't been cleaning it. It started making a noise like it was struggling, so I went to my purchases to see how long I'd had it only to find I'd had it WAY longer than I'd thought. I think you're supposed to clean it at least quarterly, and I have hard water as evidenced by the crust that built up in various places. Nothing should last this long without maintenance. This thing is incredibly well engineered and I want the company to succeed in their efforts to make more products like this. So: * Reliable? Oh yeah. VERY. I've been using its ice in my iced lattes every day for almost a year and a half. * Quiet? If you maintain it! Don't be like me. Take care of your stuff and it will take care of you. * Fast? Yeah, it works as advertised. * Good ice? You bet! There's always a downside to everything, right? Well, maybe not. Sometimes I forget to refill it and have to wait for ice. Oh no. Poor me. It would be nice if it had a tube on the outside showing the current water level, or if there were a way to hook it up to my tap to automatically refill, but those would add complexity that it doesn't need. The only reason this ice maker might not be for you would be if you need one that produces a higher volume of ice or one that takes up less space like if you live in an RV or a pocket dimension at the top of a magic rope.

Bought this unit. Worked for a while and then quit. Contacted company. They asked me to do a cleaning cycle and try again. I did what they asked and still didn’t work. They decided to replace my unit. Have had for a couple of weeks and is working fine. (🙏) Their service was very prompt. I really appreciated the replacement. I like the unit, the amount is small. Fills up one thermo cup only. Also it is quite noisy, but I keep in my dining room so it is not heard around the house.

This is the closest ice maker that produces ice that is the closest resembling to sonic nugget ice (the best in my opinion). We purchased this back in January of 2025, unfortunately it only lasted about 2 months before it stopped working. We performed regular maintenance and only used distilled water to fill it up as recommended. In that period of time, we did get a lot of use out of it which may have contributed to a fast wear, however even that seems unreasonable to me and a bit disappointing as for the price point you would expect it to handle a little better. When it is running it is quite noisy, so we ended up putting the machine in our pantry to help mute some of the sound - it wasn't anything unreasonable, just a normal motor sound, but did get a tad annoying during the nights. Our machine was not under warranty as I lost the information to register it shortly after we purchased, however the support was amazing and they were willing to replace the system at no cost, unfortunately the same model wasn't in stock, so they ended up refunding us the entire amount. I will be purchasing another system with my refund as I do believe we had a faulty part on the machine, so I would like to give it another fair chance.

I bought this nugget icemaker and rec'd it two days ago. Here's what I've learned so far. Pros: a) Packaged really well. Unless someone really tried to destroy it, it should come in just fine. Nice job! b) Easy to take all the pieces out, clean and put back together (hint: there aren't many parts, which is nice!) c) They say ice in 6 mins... True but not enough to use. lol My attached video shows this. However, in 20 mins there was enough for one cup. Give it an hour and it'll be about full. It'll auto turn off as the ice gets stuck coming out of the chute so it thinks it's full but it's only about 2/3 full. That's fine. All ice machines will do this. Several glasses worth in an hour. d) Very compact and pretty light. e) Pretty quiet. You can hear it but there is a lot going on inside to create the ice. It's not loud enough to be a bother. f) Delicious nugget ice! No complaints on size or taste! g) Easy to drain, dry off and put away. Cons: I can't come up with any. How long will it last? That's the real question. Only time will tell. Overall, here was my goal. I just wanted to use it for a day, bag up a bunch of ice, drain and dry and put it away until I needed more ice. The reason for this goal was this... My first nugget maker was the GE Profile 2.0. Almost $600. I ran it 24/7 (I use a lot of ice). This was a mistake. Running it that much wore it out too quickly and also dirtied it up too easily. There was no good way to clean it other that hoping the "clean" setting actually did clean it. Well, it didn't. I don't think any can. You can't take any of them apart enough to make sure there isn't black gunk growing in all the guts of the machines. This nugget maker is easier to get too. The top lifts off and you can actually see the inside water tank and the big front tank and clean them both. Much better and a third of the price. Will it make ice as fast? Heck's no. Can I make ice for a few hours and bag it up and put in the freezer? Heck's yeah. I'm going for price now. I'll make ice, clean up the machine and put away for a week. So far, this is a great buy!!

I bought this ice maker 5 months ago on the recommendation of a friend. It makes fantastic Sonic chewable ice. The sound level is equivalent to the vent over a stove, but it has become white noise that no longer bothers me. A few weeks ago the unit started making an awful squeezing noise and eventually stopped making ice. I tried cleaning it with vinegar multiple times, used AI to troubleshoot, nothing worked. I called Euhomy customer service, easily reached a person to speak to, confirmed my purchase info, and explained the situation. They sent a follow up email a few hours later requesting pictures and a video, a few more email exchanges followed, and they sent me a replacement unit. The whole process was very easy, and the best part is I didn't have to go through the hassle of sending the broken unit back to them! I'm now back to happily munching on my ice.

So far I am loving it...Big water holder & ice basket...Love the lil nugget ice..It stays frozen longer than bullet ice.. Twice a piece of ice got stuck where it comes out & the motor was making a loud whining sound & got hot...I wouldn't leave it on if you're going to be gone a long time & the motor is loud....I did buy lil sanitizing tabs to clean it every month or two & they save me from having to clean it but I run tabs thru a couple times then drain & rinse with plain water twice Bought this Nov 25 2025 & August 2026 It doesn't work anymore...I think the motor died...Was getting hot & not getting water cold & still making loud screeching sound when no ice stuck...Really Disappointed!!! And can't return cause return window closed Jan 31st 2026! I thought it had a year warranty...Won't be buying this brand again!

I purchased in February of 2025 for our new apartment but didn’t start using it until we moved in a month and a half later. It was working amazing- makes ice fast, the nuggets are the perfect size, the noise wasn’t too bad while making ice, and I felt like I got a great deal. But- this morning it started making a really fast repetitive clicking sound. I followed the directions in the manual and online to empty it out, try cleaning, and letting things defrost but nothing. So so disappointed. We will leave it overnight to see if anything changes but from what I’m reading online it’s not an issue troubleshooting at home will fix. And of course the warranty has expired! I don’t recommend buying this - it just doesn’t last.

Best investment I ever made. Works great, makes ice quick, and it’s the good crunchy little ice. Perfect for my daily iced coffees! Update a couple months later, still works great, so glad I bought it! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Bought this nugget ice maker August 2025 and I really love it! But at the beginning of this month, it started to make squeaky sounds and not making ice anymore! I tried to check the product support, but the information is for and Ice Cream machine and not the ice nugget maker! SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!! For the price we pay for it, you’d expect it to last more than 11 months!!! Be very careful if you purchase! When it was working, it was the best ice maker! But now it’s just dead weight on my countertop, and I have to buy a new one!!!

Great ice maker, if you want nugget ice this machine has the perfect consistency. I appreciate how easy it is to run the cleaning cycle which I was worried about before buying this machine.
