I first started using these several years ago when I wanted to use something to pair with my leave in conditioners . My hair just wouldn’t last . After using this product my curls were not only defined but also shiny and elongated. Some advice : when using this product use very sparingly because it can be heavy only if you use too much . A little can go a long way as the consistency is a very smooth cream like jelly . It can be drying to the hair and make hair a little hard if not used in moderation but that’s not a major downfall because this is one product that isn’t too heavy for my 3b/c hair. . The product smells really good and can allow curls to keep its definition for several days .When using using this product Ive used Shea moisture leave in conditioner, curlsrock , and then big sexy hair spray once it was dry for added shine . Turned out amazing and I’ll leave a pic of my curls .

One of the best products for curly hair. I've used for YEARS. I combine with two other products, but it's a staple. As someone who is biracial, I'm always asked what I put in my hair to get my curls so nice. This is the first product I list. It does add a bit of hard hold, not like a gel, but slightly hard none the less. This may bother some, but I like the hold of the curls and the reduction in friz!

I would like to comment here for those who are looking for a real curly styler. Since I have been using it for years... the result is the same with every use and the quality here never changed. If you have curly or wave type of hair, you need to shape your hair as you like to see yourself. And you have to have a way to do it by yourself. We all have different way to do so but for me, I was confused with so many styling products out there. I was always looking for not heavy feel & non sticky but soft and shiny waves or curls styler with minimum effort. This is the one and only product I discovered which can give me the result in 2 pomp, 3 maximum, which even works for fine hair. I have tried so many products and never got the result that I got with this product. Usually people have to use many different products to get the desired shape of their hair which I don't like. I think washed clean hair should NOT be applied with many products to get the natural looking desired shape. For me, Catwalk Amplifier is the only product that can give the result that people get from many different products. A very small amount of product will be enough. The texture is good but the feeling is free and light on the hair. Actually this is very strong styler, extra hold but perfect styling. After applying this to wet clean hair and style it with a hair dryer, waves and curls defined very very well. I do spray shine serum on done hair and result is perfect each time.
