This battery meter is one the best, excellent quality welll built and looks very durable, very colorful display, the battery voltage accuracy is excellent 100 % accurate. It is very easy to install, with the long cable length it can be routed and hide as well. Highly recommended

I picked this up to provide a voltage readout for a vintage Austin Healey. I like the small size and the bright display is a plus, because this car is for top-down driving on sunny days. The included bezel, while decent, didn’t suit my desired mounting location so I fabricated one up. That said, the included hardware is surprisingly good. The positive and negative lead connections are pre-wired and, if appropriate to your mounting location, are simply plug and play. I pictured the positive lead with its included inline glass type fuse holder, although I changed mine out for a blade type fuse. As mentioned, the display is bright and sharp. The individual red, yellow and green lights on the perimeter of the display light up sequentially as voltage increases, which adds to the at-a-glance legibility. A nice touch. In summary, this is a nice, unobtrusive voltage indicator that is easy to install and lends itself to a variety of applications.

I recently had battery/charging issues with my car and purchased these meters to better monitor the battery and alternator while on the road. Before installing, I tested them on the bench with a variable supply. The first thing I noticed is they both reported accurate voltages. However, it takes about 1-2 seconds for them to show any sudden voltage changes. The color-coded ring was a good indicator. Red = low battery, Amber = full battery not charging, Green = charging, red dot after green = overcharge voltage. The supplied 5mm x 20mm glass fuse is rated 10 Amps! This is way over rated given the supplied 18 AWG wire. I measured max current draw at 50 mA. I would recommend replacing with a 1 Amp fuse, and keep the fuse close to the voltage source. Overall, these meters were a good value for the performance and fit my need well. The flush mount gave me plenty of options for mounting in small areas. The LEDs are very bright! They appeared to be as advertised, but I can’t speak for the reliability since I’ve only had them a short while.

Well put together package. Durability for a boat will show with time. I will update after a few outings. Video shows how the prepackaged leads work. Pictures show how the leads are designed. Make sure you insert the wires so the flats face each other so you can catch the unlocking tab with your fingernail. They are positive locking...Will not come undo by vibration or pulling.

It's simple and easy to read with colorful bright LED indicators and numbers. Pretty accurate reading. Although, you have to read the manual to better understand the battery levels and how the gauge reports it. Well made plastic unit that you can easily mount anywhere. Everything is provided for installation and setup.

I have a gas powered golf cart and have been using this for about a year now to monitor the battery voltage. The meter is solid and I have it always on. It doesn't seem to drain the battery at all and I can quickly see how well my battery is charged before I start my day. Display looks nice too! I would buy again.
