Another excellent purchase
Read the mixed reviews and took a punt. Added extra clamps to hose connectors. Came with a filter too so plus points there. Shame the connection cable wasn't longer though. However transfered 500 lites in about 15 minutes, so rating correct, quiet and efficient. Cheap for the price and overall efficiency. No hesitation in recommending.

Very powerful.
The pump itself is great, very sturdy and powerful. It does have mounting holes for a more permanent fixture but I left it loose. Only downside is trying to find pipe to fit the ends supplied. I did manage to find some 1" pipe and tighten down which did the job. The fittings are slightly smaller than 1". This pump will empty a 25L drum in less than 40 seconds.

Reasonable price good performance
Arrived in good time to be used for a fuel oil transfer after installing bundled tank. Simple strong product, well constructed and sturdy with a quick transfer rate. Shifted 500ltr very quickly several times. Used with corrugated hose as suction is pretty powerful. I liked the little filter as well, a nice touch! I ensures it was washed out through a bucket of soapy water to prevent fuel lying in the pump and it’s been a good value product.

Failed 2nd time I used it..
Used once and worked great, next time I went to use it, it just started to smoke and died..Waste of £40 for the whole 10 minutes use it had.

Fast
Bought to transfer fuel from storage tank to machines at work item is very good make sure your hoses are a tight fit and of a more flexible material to achieve the best seal.

i used this to drain and refill a 2000 litre oil tank it did it 3 times on one charge of my leisure batteryvery quiet extremely fast works perfectlyhighly recommended

A useful pump but with limitations
Solid and works well and quietly. Pumped 800 litres of heating oil 20 metres but was at its effective limit.Let down by the poor quality hose tails supplied which are very thin and don't fit the pumps thread tightly so leaked badly even with lots of Pte tape and O rings supplied.Replacement hose tails may resolve this as long as the pump body threads are correct.
