Got this to hold my phone in my car and I needed something that will not fall down and hold the phone securely. This mag mount works great and for the money, it's terrific value and being on a double end ball mount. I can adjust the mount to suit my needs and where my eye is at if I do need to glance down on the phone.

This is a great item to use with any tripod! The only issue with my iPhone 14 pro max was the magsafe did not have a secure enough magnet to secure my $1400 phone. The mount is designed nicely! It is easy to use. For me, I wish the magnet was slightly stronger. I have a hard time mounting my phone to it considering the change of loss. You could easily bump the phone by accident and boom the phone could get damaged. I still give it 5 stars because everything else makes sense for me!

This is a great product, and it does work well when used with my phone... BUT it does not work well through a phone case. I even bought a MagSafe/magnetic sticker for the back of my phone (under the case) which helped a little, but not much. A better idea would be to attach the magnetic sticker to the actual phone case, but my case has a texture so it wouldn't stick very well. I do not feel safe using this *without* a case so the best thing to do (if your case isn't magnetic) is to get a case specifically for when you use this device.

I only bought the mount and not the bundle with the mini tripod. I attached the mount to a SmallRig table top tripod to use for iPhone app development. I connect my iPhone with a cable for faster build times so didn't need a magsafe stand with charger. And the fact that this is metal and held securely on the tripod means absolutely no shaking or wobbles when touching the phone screen. For some reason that drives me crazy. I bought another plastic magsafe tripod mount that broke in 2 days so I definitely recommend a metal solution like this one.

I use this in an unconventional way and it works great! The magnet is strong. I used this on a tripod at about 6ft high. I would mount a car mountable roof antenna to it for my GMRS base station radio and it worked great!

I've been trying out a few MagSafe compatible tripod mounts, and this one was noticeably worse than all the others. The back was just a printed sticker attempting to mimic a radial metal pattern, and the magnets were significantly weaker than the competitors I've used. I have a number of other Neewer products that are ok (affordable/serviceable), but this magnetic tripod mount was terrible and immediately returned. There are much stronger and higher quality options for the same price or less.

It works! I got this to replace the clamp style phone holders. It works great, magnet is strong, makes taking off and putting your phone on easier. I have shaken it like crazy but for daily use vlogging or pov it works great.

I bought this to combine with 3mm steel, a tripod and an ASUS Zenscreen. So far I have had no issues, it is powerful enough to hold the Zenscreen which weights approximately 800g. If I were to get a second screen, I'd go for this again. I have no doubt that it would be strong enough for all phones. I would recommend getting a larger 3mm steel piece instead of the piece supplied.

This thing is a dynamite. Its holding power is the best I’ve seen. I’m using it to attach my phone to the tripod at the shooting range and I trust it 100%. The phone doesn’t move at all no matter what goes on around it. Solid product.
