I have a little yappy dog, (Chihuahua) and yes he thinks he is a lot bigger than he is and always trying to intimidate everyone and thing that comes near the house. I put this collar on him and he chirped a little bit then basically quit barking immediately. Very happy with this since I live in a condo community and people are always walking around and he is now quite. Then my wife likes it because you can change the color with the different color cover plates that are available. Have a nice day and get this, you will have a quieter home in seconds.

My wife and I specifically chose this one as it is NOT a shock or an Ultrasonic collar. The collar simply makes a beep to warn the dog, then a longer beep, then vibrates similar to a cell phone on the 3rd beep. I kid you not this worked first try on our chiweenie mix. She used to yell at any sound in the neighborhood and after one time of the vibration startling her, she no longer barks more than once. On top of that if she refuses to come inside all we have to do it make it beep by blowing into it and she darts staight inside. Not saying it will work this well for everyone, just sharing our experience.

The collar is way too big for my 14# dog- even when adjusted. Since it doesn't fit properly, I can't really say if it would have worked or not but just sounding the noise when he is barking- does nothing. I threw the packaging away or I would return this- I will either throw it away or donate it to a thrift store.*Update*This seller contacted me and proved they they are interested in making their customers happy. While the collar still did not work out for me, i have passed it along to a friend who will hopefully have some better luck. I would consider buying from this seller again.

It is a great training tool for my 2 young dogs after 2 days all I had to do was pick up the collar and they quit barking. My older one with thick long hair is not working as well, I even clipped her hair at her neck but it only works one in a while. But overall still very happy.

I have a rescue dog that has issues with everyone except us. He barks constantly at any guests, neighbors etc. I wanted something that didn’t shock him. Being a rescue I have no idea what my baby went through before he came to me. The first day I put it on him it worked. After the collar vibrated once he stopped and now when it beeps he stops. I actually ordered another for his new brother that has now taken over the barking role in the house.

When I first used these collars on my dogs they worked well. I have a boxer and a German short haired pointer. The collars were to keep my dogs from barking when my neighbors walked by our driveway. My dogs learned quick how the collars worked and typically stopped barking on the first beep. Now, two months later, the collars are beeping randomly and it’s confusing my dog because they do not know what behavior to correct. I understand the collars might be triggered when my dog shakes or scratches at the collar but she can just be standing there and the collar goes off. The collars have also started beeping when my dogs are playing together. I have replaced the battery but it did not help. The collars are almost pointless now because they just scare my dog with all the random beeps

Maybe it's my dog's problem more than the product's fault. We have previously tried a citronella collar on him with similar results. He has a lot of anxiety about being left on his own (we have to crate him), and it causes him to go into spasms of barking until you would imagine he'd choke himself on it. The first time he barked with this collar on, the vibrations stopped him and he looked really puzzled. No pain, just surprise. The second time he stopped again. After that, he might as well have been wearing nothing at all, the vibrations were no deterrent. The same happened with the citronella for us, so mileage may vary. Could just be we have the worst dog in history.

We received the collars for our little pups on Wednesday. We set them up and put them on the dogs immediately. We saw (heard) the difference from the start. They have now been on the dogs for 48 hours with just an occasional bark. Before they would bark at everything. Now we get a yip and then it's silent. I must admit I really didn't think anything could stop their barking but the no shock collar works!
