I've seen no better for the money.
I purchased these for fishing and walking and they are a compact, light 10x42 binocular. These binoculars seem to be well made with a good rubber protective coating (although I've not used them in harsh weather yet) and for £50 they give a very clear image. They come with a good carry case, decent rubber lens caps and an ok strap. The only criticism is the twist adjustable eye pieces for spectacle users. A nice thought but I would prefer standard rubber eye pieces that can still be folded flat for glasses. This is a personal preference and I would certainly not let it put me off buying these as for the money I have not come across any better.

Looking through them gives me a very muddled image - I would not recommend them.
I have found everything about these binoculars very difficult. I managed to fit the strap but it took me ages. Looking through them gives me a very muddled image - I would not recommend them.

Not for birding
I bought these as a second pair to keep in the car. Main use for birdwatching. Optically they are OK, not brilliant, but OK and good value for money. The reason for the three stars is that the focus wheel is very low geared, and focussing involves lots of turns of the wheel. As a result focussing is slow. This makes them difficult to use to observe fast moving objects - many times by the time I had focused the bird had flown off. It is not so bad if you are keeping to a narrow depth of focus, such as on a bird feeder, but for out and about birding it is very frustrating.I would not recommend them for birdwatching, but to be fair the optics are worth the money.

On short usage (not in bad conditions), a good binocular for the money
On short usage (not in bad conditions), a good binocular for the money. Clear optics, reasonable field of view, nice to use. Does what the advertising says it does.

VERY POOR QUALITY
I had to send these back as they were very poor quality- double vision and the right eyepiece diopter adjuster would not turn unless you really forced it. Gutted because I really liked the look of these but I ordered another pair from a different manufacturer at double the price and they are perfect so you get what you pay for.

remarkable for the price
These are really great binoculars, they feel weighty, they have great build quality, optically they are bright and sharp , remarkable for the price. I do not have the need for a top quality pair and these are great value and quality.

Fantastic clarity excellent build.
Fantastic binoculars. I have a few pairs of Bonnybridge but the clarity of these is the best. Small and light enough for a child to use but they feel nice and substantial.

Disappointed
I ordered these after reading reviews in Bird Watch magazine and those reviews from customers here on Amazon. I was looking for a spare binocular that would probably end up in the glove compartment of the car and I chose 10s because I thought that they might come in handy when doing birdwatching when walking along my local coast.I wasn't expecting top end performance, although most reviews suggested exceptional value for money. After delivery I gave them a try in dull conditions (always the best conditions in which to try out a binocular). I was particularly disappointed with the poor light gathering and very limited field of view. I realise that these things are normally limited in 10 x magnification but the results were, quite frankly, what I would expect from a £55 binocular. In short, it didn't live up to its glowing reports from Bird Watch and others.Of course, I might have taken delivery of a damaged product.
