Anyone with an OLD pocket door that has the little pull that's hard to grab with your fingers need to upgrade to this!Wife loves it, better quality than the old and nice finish!

I love this unique design of pocket door hardware & it is so much easier to use than the typical small ones! the lock works good too so far. The screws that came with it only worked for some of the hardware though & were too small/fell through the other holes on the inside of the handle. I compensated this by using a lot of construction adhesive & random screws I had laying around, not an ideal fix but I had to make due to get to using my door ASAP.

Low quality product. I purchased two of these. One was missing parts, the other had no instructions with it, and the screws snap off and aren't the correct size for the hardware. I would not recommend.

The included screws easily strip and break even when screwing them in soft pine with predrilled holes. I needed to find replacements, but because the screw heads are small and need to be tapered to fit flush with the latch and needed to be black to match it was very challenging to find them.Also the screws on the side you cannot screw straight in since there is not room for a screw driver making the problem of stripping them more likely.Then there are other annoying thing like the included template for your cuts. You need to crease it on then fit it on the door to mark your cuts. But when they packed the template it was already folded just off the required cut line making it difficult to re-crease it on the proper line. PITA.Then just some cosmetic and convenience issues. There is no end pull--just a hole to stick your finger in. The lock mechanism can be on either side, but the side with the lock will have an open slit. And there is no insert for the door latch plate so you'll see the exposed wood when the door is open.One the upside it was easy to install once I found the right replacement screws. And it was inexpensive--I got what I paid for but next time I'd pay more for a better lock.

Well made, excellent pull/lock. Not recommended for DIY to install. Some precision cutting and chisel work required.

Looks nice when it is installed. The screws broke off in my door (really cheap metal). The door was a pine door, AND I pre-drilled the holes after the first two broke. Even with pre-drilling, the screws broke. I had to go to my local hardware and purchase quality screws. One more problem...the holes that are punched into the metal housing are too big for the screws that come with the hardware, the screw head just fell through the hole. Very frustrating. If you are not easily frustrated and willing to work through the design flaws, they do look nice once installed.

Great option to older pocket door hardware. It is so much easier to pull the door out and lock it. Was able to expand the existing cut in the door to accept the new hardware.

The door lock looks nice and work well. We replaced three very small ones with these larger, easier to get your fingers into the handle ones. BUT, if you buy these , be aware that the screws that come with it have heads that are too small for some of the holes, therefore making them useless. They are also so cheap that the heads break off in the holes that they do fit while screwing them in. We had to replace the small screws with larger ones that we had, and skip the screw completely in the holes that they broke in.
