Bit boring
What a let down !!!!I was so looking forward to reading this book especially after the 3 previous books which I loved !!But sadly it didn't deliver for me . I got fed up of reading it , which is not a good thing for a book . But I kept on to see how it ended . This book follows Easton and i wanted so much to love it ,but even the ending didn't do anything for me

Loved this book!!
OMFG!!! This book. I'm literally shaking after reading this. That ending I'm speechless. Like WTF!! That's one hell of a cliffy to end on. One of the best I've read.I loved the first three books, but this one just blew them out the water. I seriously loved everything about this story.I've loved Easton since book 1. There's always been something about him. Maybe it's just the Mothering side of me that sees the sadness underneath all the cocky Bravado that East puts on.Easton has always had addiction problems in one way or another. My heart has always kind of broke for him.I do love his personality, especially when he's being himself. The Royal name comes with a lot of responsibility and sometimes I think it's just to much for Easton so he messes up big style..Hartley comes into the picture starting at Aston and immediately Easton is drawn to her.At first obviously he wants to get in her pants because come on he's Easton that's his first thought for everything. However Hartley isn't that easily swayed by the Royal charm and brushes East off.Hartley has her own problems and just wants to be left alone.I adored Hartley she is such a strong girl and doesn't fall for Eastsons Bull$hit. These two will take you on one hell of an emotional journey. Two messed up kids that just need to be understood. I think they need each other more than they care to admit. This book broke my heart but I did laugh my Ass off too. I can not wait to read the next part. I'm totally crapping myself with nerves but I need to find out what happens next.Yes, These Royals have definitely ruined me!!

**Easton's Limelight**
This is the long awaited 4th book in the series and the story of the playboy middle brother Easton.Easton has been around the block a couple of times and his reputation as the funny guy and relentless flirt is still going strong until a ordinary pretty girl comes bounding into his life... Hartley. They both have issues in their life that they don't want people to know, they use different tactics to hide these wether it's pushing people away or being the class clown they want people to see the two of them exactly how they portray themselves and not the real people they are.I have been anticipating this next story of the royals for months I'm equally joyed and annoyed with this story, I love that we see more about Easton and how you get to see a different side to him. But I am slightly annoyed that in this book we don't get more of reed and Ella's love story.Spoilers***Easton is quite immature and self absorbed in the beginning of the book. Easton doesn't think of anyone else but himself and it's all about having fun no matter the consequences, he's a royal if something happens he can throw some money at it so it disappears. But throughout the story you can see Easton changing and letting people see the real him.In this story I feel you also see a different side to Ella, she is portrayed as a slightly more vulnerable and nagging character. I feel that with Reed off in college she doesn't have a major role to play in this story and the majority of the scenes Ella is in Elle has not portrayed her in the best light.I found myself sighing when Ella would act as a mother figure to Easton. Personally, I found Ella was slightly patronising towards Easton by always questioning his motives and actions and making it seem as if she is a lot older than Easton and that is Easton is a child. In certain sections of the story Ella would nag Easton about where he was going and he would get irritated with her. Sometimes Easton would say some quite harsh comments towards Ella, even though I don't agree with the comments he made I do feel his irritation is justified by Ella's constant nagging. My favourite part of the book is reading how Easton started growing up and maturing as he fell in love. I loved how towards the middle of the book Easton would stop and think before he said something or if he said a comment that would not be taken too good he instantly recognised his mistake and took responsibility for it and would resolve the issue the comment made. The line that stuck by me throughout the book was when Easton said why couldn't anyone around here take responsibility for their actions, this comment shows how level headed, mature, honest and trustworthy he is. Even though he can be immature at times.THAT ENDING, I hate when a book is left with a major cliff hanger, we have to wait until January to find out what happens and right now that seems so far away. The father is totally unreasonable at the end of the book, he's so unreasonable it is slightly unbelievable someone could be that cruel.I couldn't put the book down it was slightly slow towards the beginning and middle and it all kicked up at the end. Easton has been portrayed as such a lovable character and I'm sooo glad we got to get insight into his life. Amazing book with great characters. There is some small issues I had with this book and they are:One, Ella is portrayed into a nagging mother hen. Two, the female lead character... Hartley. I did not connect with her because I felt she was to serious and did not match Easton's personality at all. Finally, the storyline was slightly slower in this book, this story was much better than the previous book. In the beginning and middle the storyline was quite slow with all the dramatic scenes cramped into the end of the book.Apart from these issues I really enjoyed reading about Easton and Hartley's Love story, and his progression into a more mature person.

What about that ENDING!!
*whispers to myself * "oh no they didn't, did they...?"I think it's safe to say that the ladies of Erin Watt are the queens of heartbreak and cliffhangers!!Easton is the broken and flawed member of the Royal clan. He chooses to deal with his problems by finding the bottom of a bottle or using his fists. He likes to push his family away by using harsh words and stupid actions.Hartley Wright is not your typical Astor Prep girl. Even though she comes from money, she doesn't throw it around in people's faces. She just wants to stay under the radar and get through the school year unnoticed. Only, she didn't bank on catching the attention of Easton Royal. There is just something about her that draws Easton in.Fallen Heir was filled with the usual things we've come to expect from the Erin Watt duo: drama, angst galore, and no shortage of mean girls at Astor Prep who want one thing... and that's to bag a Royal.I think to truly enjoy Fallen Heir you should definitely read the first three Royal books in this series. Now the main question is... is it January yet?!? Because that cliffhanger was just WOW!

Easton's book is here !!!!
Easton is one Royal I'd be happy to be ruin by !!!!This book is packed to the top of angst but didn't deliver on the romance, I didn't feel a spark of chemistry between Hartley and Easton which was a huge disappointment and at times I became frustrated by Easton's behaviour but all that being said I did enjoy the beginning of Easton's story, this is part one and does end on a cliffy but not long until Jan !!!Recommended for lovers of angst

I was really disappointed in this book
I was really disappointed in this book, considering I fell in love with the first two books in this series I had really high expectation for this one especially since easton was my favourite character, but in this book he failed to impress me and I found myself hating him I couldn't connect with his character, the romance was insta love on his side, and the heroine had no admiring qualities that would get easton to fall head over heels in love with her. The romance just felt forced from begging to end, they share no really connection and have zero chemistry, it was quite a terrible read from one of my favourite series, such failed potential. The worse part for me was probably losing the love I had for easton considering he was easier to connect with in the first three books, one of the dumbest things the author did was ruin his bond with Ella why do authors not understand that side characters are important and that hero and heroine don't always need to be two lonely souls that could only depend on each other, easton had a family that loved him so it was extremely dumb pretending like he had no one, he and his heroine were just both spoiled drama queens who where making there problems seem bigger than they where. I would have still been okay with all of those things if these two actually shared chemistry, but unlike the first three books in the series this love story was dry and void of any mental o physical connection and this point easton had more chemistry with the food he in the cafeteria than he did Hartley

Royally ruined again!
I voluntarily received an advanced review copy of this book and chose to review it.OMG, they've done it again and once again I'm royally ruined. This book was everything we wanted and more. We get to see what all our favourites are up to as well as finally get inside the mind that is Easton Royal. Easton is everything we've come to expect from him and Hartley is more than up for the challenge of wrangling him. I love her! I love Easton even more than I did. I loved seeing more of the twins. There's funny moments, touching moments, annoying, want to tear your hair out moments, as well as some loving moments too.I absolutely loved this book, love this series and I can't wait for the next book!Reviewed for 2 Rs blog.

They did it again...
Happy that I got the oppurtunity again to get royally ruined. I was really excited to read something again about the Royals. This book is solidly about Easton. A new school year has started and he is bored. He still plays football but there are still the same persons he grew up with. Except one, Hartley Wright. She is new at school. Even if she is not exactly the girl Easton normally hangs around with, he kinda starts to go after her. If you know Easton, this leads to many funny arguments not only between him and Hartley but also some small ones with him and Ella.It is a slow going on romance between them when they have time between Hartleys secrets and Eastons "lack" of leaving someone in peace ;)I liked the book because Easton is the one of the Royal brothers who kinda "knows" everything. He is the middle child a chain between the twins and his older brothers. He sometimes showed a soft side of him and sometimes you hated him and wanted to punch some knowledge into his mind. The book is told in Easton's POV. If I have to say, it was the only thing I did not like so much. I was dying to get to know Hartley, getting to know her secrets. Also, it was sometimes difficult to read Easton's POV especially when he did something stupid again...For me as a non-native speaker in English it was easy to read which was also something I liked. So get the book and get ruined again. You will!

I almost gave this book one star
This is a great book. The characters have depth and flaws. The class divide isnt the docus of the book but it is clearly shown. This book pretends that is is a teen romance but I felt like it had more in common with a mystery novel and literature exploring emotions and coping mechanisms. Balanced with fights and alot of drinking. The story line is not predictable. But there is a huge cliff hanger on the last page and not being able to find out what happens filled me with rage and frustration. So I almost gave this book a one star rating.

Another fantastic book in an amazing series!
Such a great book, if you liked the first 3 your going to love this. While the books main focus is Easton and Hartley you still get enough of the other characters mixed in that most series forget when the focus shifts to another main character.I always loved Eastons character but now he has more depth hes growing up and maturing thanks to Hartley the only girl to resist his charm. Easton is trying to be better for her but seems to be just making things worse for not just her but everyone he cares about.Hartley has family issues and lives alone in a tiny apartment and works at a diner to pay her bills. So when Easton enters her life she makes it clear she wants nothing to do with him. but using his royal charm he wears her down and they form a friendship like neither of them has had before. But Easton keeps messing up and another drunken mistake could just be his biggest mistake yet.

Book 4
I loved the first 3 books of this series, I couldn’t put them down. I was hoping more out of this book. I think for me what was missing was an intense connection between Easton and his girl.

Great continuation of the series
Not as great as Book 2 and 3, but still pretty entertaining. It focuses on another Royal brother and his shenanigans. Really liked it - recommended for older audiences, though. I'd say 18-19 at least.

Ruined and impatiently waiting for more!
Erin Watt books are always so amazing and this one doesn't disappoint. While I found I wasn't as hooked as I had been in the Ella/Reed series, I found this was an excellent insight into Easton! We get to see more of what's going on in his head! Now to wait (impatiently) for the next one!

Oh wow!
5 freakin stars for Easton Royal. And what a cliffy that was. Great read, very entertaining. Easton has been my favourite since starting The Royal's saga and I'm so happy he got his story and what a story it is, can't wait for the continuation.

Incredible Series!
This series just keeps getting better and better! I am never been so captivated by a family. Each Royal has so much money but feel empty inside. It takes an outsider to show them what they’re missing.
