This product is great for near-full wireless setups, especially since this product can be used on desktop monitors and older TVs that don't have built-in wireless casting. Match it with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and you'll have a neater desk less cluttered with wires. My testing yielded almost little (<1sec.) lag (when using better picture quality mode at around 75-85 feet distance with clear line of sight and no obstacles), with the audio and video being perfectly in sync at all times.I have not testes the reduced lag mode which is probably the 5Ghz networking. This is not a smart TV stick; as stated, this product is virtually a wireless HDMI cable (requires only an HDMI port) and does not require miracast, bluetooth, wifi, or an internet connection to be used. The supported 1080p (1920x1080 @60Hz) resolution isn't the best when compared to cable, but is pretty good considering that it is wireless and stable. It comes with two type-c cables enabling you to get it setup right out of the box. Simply plug-and-play {physical button pressing, time (patience), energy, and effort (+motivation) required}. Additionally, EDUP provides a mini HDMI (male) to standard HDMI (female) adapter, a real bonus for those who have smaller devices (such as cameras) or thinner laptops. The product generates its own wifi network (without internet connection) and features a settings page (updates, resolution, display mode, HDCP, EDID Pass-through, image mode, language, and wifi). This is an excellent product and I am definitely looking forward to this company producing an improved version in the future that supports 4K resolutions or 1080p resolutions at higher refresh rates (120Hz and 144Hz namely).
