Motorcraft OEM Parts
If your having an issue with your Explorer starting on cold mornings, idle stumbles or engine stalls when shifting gears you may need to change the idle air control valve (motor). The Motorcraft CX-1771 is the direct OEM part callout you will find on the Ford Parts website.There are several aftermarket makers but at the Amazon price, you can't beat getting the real OEM part. This part is simple to change for those DIY'ers out there. You will need a torx wrench, and two other sockets to remove and install the new control motor.My Explorer: 2003 V6 4.0L Flex

Idle Air Control
It turned out to be the wrong part for my vehicle. The electrical connector was upside down and the OEM connector fitting was completly different than the one you sent me. I called Amazon last night and received a return UPS sticker. I mailed the Idle Air Control back this morning.
